hello
I love it that LEGO are releasing more and more small sets.
The only land Rover I can afford
Relatable
Same bro, same. 😢
you are really doing quite well financially, all I can afford is the 1€ hot wheels one.
I feel u bro
I can't even afford this
The reason Lego is creating a bunch of different defender sets this year, is because it is Land Rovers 75 anniversary, and the reason this particular set is in yellow is for Lego’s “hardest to reach Lego store” event. Which is a yellow defender 90 that is converted into a Lego store, in the middle of nowhere! Look it up.
Love it when LEGO releases affordable sets! I don't care that is Creator. This is going alongside my SC collection!
💜💙🖤💙💜
I wish lego made a speed champions set of land rover defender but it's kind of not probable.
Speed champions land Rover. Hmm
Huh?
I recently discovered set 60393 4x4 Fire Truck at a Target, (Never seen even once at any Lego Store), it's the same size as this tiny Defender but has 'turning action' where the wheel bracket actually can move at angles inside the hub it's installed in, making the wheels turn inwards into the direction you lean it, but also makes it look like a formidable off-roader and I can't for the life of me understand why they didn't install this in the Defender 90 as well making it an incredibly more playful build. Very bizarre, but LOVING this tiny 4x4 firetruck because of it!
This collection really needs another set: A 8 stud wide, side by side seated version in the Speed Champions range of complexity.
Nice, simple, adapted to City, quite cheap...definitely a must-have IMHO. I will buy 2 of these. Good idea to compare it with her 2 elder sisters. Thx for the review
That is a cool Land Rover.
Nice small set in an affordable form factor.
Ordered mine 2 days ago, it's so cute!
It would be nice if there’s a comparison with a speed champions set
Yeah well I can't compare with each and every LEGO set around here... it's 6 studs wide, I think there was enough reference in the video for comparison.
Always love your videos … Keep it up
Cool
Very nice build, fantastic Set, fair priced!
I ordered it yesterday, should be arriving soon!
I need this and the small Vespa now!
2:38 can the Land river fit inside of the house drive in?
The steering wheel should be offset to the right side :)
It can be done. You just need to keep the minifigs arm up high.
Interesting set it’s quite a nice change of events form lego.
Another great video
I love the build but why is it orange. I would definitely have gotten it if it was the classic sand green.
I like it, Lego at least does a decent job with some of its affordable sets. I don't like that it is a Lego shop exclusive though. Also shouldn't it be a Speed Champions set? It is licensed and does not offer any alternative builds.
Speed Champions is 8 stud wide now, the size and complexity would be very different. I'm glad we get licensed cars in other play themes as well.
I don't think it would ever fit as part of the speed champs set.
great video my friend :)
man i wish these little sets were available here, maybe in the actual lego store but im sad i missed out on the vespa
I love this. Im normally a huge advocate for printed parts, but in this specific case I wish the headlight pieces were stickers instead. That way this set could be colour swapped to any whatever is available in all of these pieces. Small gripe, but I love it otherwise
This is the first licensed standard creator set (not creator expert) that I think I have ever seen. Are there even any other ones?
Edit: Looking through Brickset I think there actually have been 9 in total? But this is only the second general retail release, with the first being the Vespa scooter. There's another 3 standard gift with purchases (VW bug, VW van, and Mini coupe) and 4 really obscure limited release promotional tie ins (BBC hospital charity poly bag, Mr. Magoriums Wonder Improium movie collection, a poly bag for paper company, and a poly bag for art supply company) .
They don’t sell it in the 2023 and my brother already bought them
I wanted the Technic one and wasn't too fond of the larger system version so i may get this and put it in my Speed champions collection but it's 6 stud so i'll forget it as it can't compete with the Technic version which i wanted and wont work in my 8 stud collection.
I work on and service land rovers so this would be a cool thing to put in the workshop 😂
for Australia it is coming on July 1st for some strange reason
I literally just finished building it before seeing this video.
Can you please make a rc mod for Mclaren senna gtr with power functions or powered up
Thanks an enjoyable review, once again.
This set looks fine, but no more than that. I've seen so many people on social media LEGO groups saying this should be a Speed Champions set. 🤔 I don't get it: Firstly it's not a fast road car and isn't involved in speed-based motorsport. Nor is it a sophisticated-enough build foe that product line. It belongs in Creator
Not mad about the yellow colour - would look better in red or green IMHO…
Fun fact: you can remove the 2x 2x2 brick at the bottom for better ground clearance
I hope i have enough spare parts to to turn it into 8stud speed chsmpions scale.
PS why they missed rims..
i would have likes it in sand green so i could match with the big brother
Should have had the minifigure wearing a Barbour jacket for extra authenticity.
Might by one
Man I wish it was 8 wide
Thing is so tiny the outro takes up 1/5 of the video
It shoud've been 8-stud wide...
...and it would be 25 bucks and not to scale for City. This set is OK and cute enough as it is now 😊
Maybe you can turn it into the pizza planet car from toy story 😅😂
Me still waiting for the 42146 Crane : 😐😤AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
hi
Way too expensive for this tiny toy, without opening doors, Sorry. But nice video!
