- Hi guys ! another day another video ! dont get use to it, its just that I have no service in Provences to post my videos so I am trying to catch up on posting ahaha
today we are with our dearest Allison (make sure to follow her on IG because her tips are amazing ) and guest Roya (IG @royapourshalchi) to learn how to re-use our clothes from the summer and turn them into fall outfits. Also Roya as petite features so for those out there who struggle , well thats going to be a great video for you !

She described perfectly why the old advice for petites to never wear long is just wrong. Once I stopped following petite rules I enjoy dressing more.
Would love to see Allison work with a plus sized woman! But I love her tips and formulas--they make so much sense.

I am petite and didn't previously realise how nice a long dress or long/oversized jacket could look
The oversized jacket/coat only works on a petite figure when the shoulder is not structured (loose fit with the actual shoulders). Otherwise, it would look very bulky/heavy with large shoulder pads. Also, plain colours look better than large busy patterns.
It depends on your body shape though. Roya is petite however she has long legs compared to her body giving her a longer vertical line allowing her to wear longer lines.
@@midnitebottleable Petite or otherwise if you have wider shoulders/back a structured shoulder might be too much but if you have smaller rounder shoulders you need a structured shoulder. Depends on the look your going for imo
@@midnitebottleable I actually think the exact opposite, as a very petite woman that experiments with fashion a lot . Structured, oversized shoulders make me look tall and sleek, and powerful.

I am no stylist but from this video I learned to try adding a sweater. You might be surprised by how it works! I am doing it today with my long summer dress. Maybe even a blazer too. :-)

Great videos, would be good to see women of different shapes size and skin tones. Finding styles for curvier shapes can be quite difficult.

I am petite and I never wear long skirts, its just I dont like. I loved the first two looks but I could not like that long blue checked skirt. I also love how sustainable stylist Allison is. Shes amazing
I need this woman to style me. I am tall and muscular and slightly chubby on top of that. And also large busted. My bff says I’m an amazon woman 🤣 I never know what to wear because I’m shaped like a woman but larger than the average man 🤦🏼♀️

Not impressed. First, the stylist's dress wears her more than she wears it!? And the looks she came up with looked worse on Roya than her own summer outfitd. Also, Allison could've utilised some color, as Roya didn't seem to be all about browns and blacks - just look how she wears that dress in the begining of the video!
