Thanks for the explanation bro, Im the guy who was asking before! You wear the same pads and like the same secure feel as i do. I also was strapping across my knee until I tried this. You are going to strap below to the calf sling to your preferred tension..but move the elastic strap up to the very top of the knee block. It gives you that familiar secure/control feel while allowing for extra knee space. Itll come right across the back of your knee this way instead of under it which was my first failed attempt. If youve already done this than sorry that was long lol. Give it a try its literally a 10

Do you profile your skates? I noticed they were quite rounded in the heel. Just wondering if you had a special profile or that was just done over time from sharpening?
@@CooperLukenda29 i use intermediate size, it keeps the knee pads nice and tight, the SR size seems to lose. give it a try, couldn;t hurt to try something new, like the lundy loop =)
I’m using Vaughan V7 knee pads! Never had an issue with pucks, they are good at their job but they do slide around a lot which I find a little irritating.

I did get them profiled, i don’t remember what kind though. I think it’s a mixture of both. Have had these blades for a while!
My skates dont have a lundy loop and I was wondering if there would be any way to get my pads to sit higher
do you play with hockey socks over knee pads usually? in this video you didn;t have them on. I find my pads rotate smoothly with the socks on

No worries ! I wear it fairly tight but not restricting by any means! I think it is tighter than the under the skate yes!
