Thank you once again for a brilliant dive. Lots of great thinking points raised as always.
How many great moments/scenes are those distance single character shots with subdued lighting, so atmospheric and thought provoking everytime. So much detailing from writing, scene setting, lighting, costuming and cast to create those mini moments.
Personally i love the half light, half shadow facial shots, they really pull you into the individuals character and thought line.
Marion saw and appreciated Max as a woman who'd made her own path despite all that had been thrown at her, sure she'd had to bend at times but her strength and resolve, although tested, remained.
Ben i could listen to you talk Anne, Jack and Max all day.
Till the next episode, Raise the Black.

Yeah lovely lighting this episode, it really stands out. Such a underappreciated or often missed thing the directors always excel on.
Ha ha I could talk them all day as well!

Should've stuck with Flint. Ultimately, succeeding from England is exactly what was done. So truly, Silver is not the strong figure those people need. A lot was given to obtain freedom, Flint was ahead of his time.
