I always size my design, lay out all of my colors on one mat and then move my design to the respective area on the mat. Saves time.

Super cute, I love the houses, the road signs, and the bottles! Yeah, it's tricky with the tiny letters sometimes, I tend to avoid them altogether as I find the transfer tape is practically useless (with all the finicky weeding I have to do, I might as well just pick off the letters one by one and position them myself). I've never done anything on wood but these are great ideas, I might give them a go this fall :) Thanks for the video!
Don’t forget you can use “color sync” to ensure selection of exactly the same colors.
Though in actuality you can make them all the same color on design space and then just make sure you put the correct color of vinyl on your mat before cutting. Then you can have everything cut in one pass rather than two separate passes with the different colors. Might have to move the placement of each image on the mat in design space. I often put one image in each corner to make putting multiple pieces/colors of scrap on a single mat easier.

It is easier to place different colored vinyl onto one mat then to switch vinyl on mats and use multiple cuts. It saves a lot of time.

Love all the projects but I'm partial to the houses. Like out you used the plaid paper on the one house. I going to try the trick of letting the mod podge dry then use the iron. Fingers crossed. Lol

Great ideas, thank you for showing removing the backing from you project instead of the front. I have problems taking the words ( in foil ) off the backing and sometimes have re-cute my project. I’ll try it. Thanks

I loved all the projects. I really liked the sports mug! Have you ever had the vinyl fall off or start unsticking when you wash them? Like does it fall off after a while?
I’ve had really good luck as long as I hand wash them. Ive had a tiny letter start to pick up after several washes on a mug I made one time but other than that I’ve washed my glasses/mugs with vinyl on them for a very long time and it holds up. I also like oracal 651 brand. That’s what I’ve noticed holds up the best for me!

I dont know if you know or not but I figured out a way to put all the scraps of different colors so it only cuts one round instead of having to change every time.
I have done that before but I made the projects at different times over the last 2 weeks and combined them for the video so it ended up doing it separately but it is way faster to do it that way! :) I like using snapmat on my ipad sometimes too! Thanks for the tips and it might help someone else!!

Kayla, do you put something to seal the cup? I tried adding permanent vinyl to a cup and waited 2-3 days to use it but after a couple of times washing it, the letters are coming off. I'm really new to all this so I hope you can help me. Thank you!

I still cant even figure out how to get files to my computer then to put to the cricut 😩
What happens when you have many pieces and it is difficult to tell what goes where when putting together.
What helps me the most is looking at my image in Cricut design space while I’m adding the vinyl. Then I can see how it needs to be pieced together. :)
