She is an amazing coach and was a brilliant gymnast, very much in the top 5 of the world for years. I love this documentary.

That was great! I remember watching her floor routines and being in awe of her abilities! She and Chusovitina tumbled the famous Full twisting double layout on floor in the 1991 world championships! Chusovtina did it first in the meet and that's why it's named after her and not Bontas

She looks wonderful and I am so glad to see that she’s giving her knowledge to youngsters. She was one of my favorites back in the late 80s and early 90s

It is a pity that all these great gymnasts left Romania, and did not stay to take the country team to another level.

I understand. The same could be said of any country and profession though. Brilliant scientists and engineers come to the US and strengthen our systems, sometimes from countries that could benefit from their expertise.

Because the system in Romania doesn't care to reward the Romania's greats. It's a pity indeed

Romania was stricken by mass poverty after the revolution in '89 so it made sense at the time to move abroad. Romania is better off now these days, but there are still better opportunities elsewhere.

Recently I watched a documrnentary on Daniela and like Cristina their pronunciation is terrific unlike Bella, Martha and Nadia who never put the effort to soften their heavy accents.

The Karolys and Nadia left Romania at a much much older age when its much more difficult to change how to reproduce sounds
