Northern 323235 at Wigan - 19th December 2023

Northern class 323 unit 323235 departs Wigan North Western working one of the usual stopper trains to Liverpool Lime Street.
The class 323s should become a fairly regular sight now the class 319s have nearly all been retired with a few staying until early 2024. The 323s do have such a cool motor sound and are decent units despite only being 3 car trains.

323 not become regular, 331 replace 319 this was just one off

I've heard mixed plans for the 323s routes they'll be more permanent on. We shall see but being just a temporary stock gap is nice to see at Wigan.
