Some time back in the days when Llanfair PG was an LNWR station it caught fire and the station master is alleged to have sent a telegram asking for advice and received the reply "Let it burn."
I came here to say that. I visited the area in 2018: the pub and adjacent cafe had long closed. I walked from there to Great Yarmouth. It took me two hours. Then I walked back again and got the last train of the day to Norwich. Regarding the pub, I believe there were plans to repurpose it as a bistro. I don't think anything has come from that.
Also an entire section dedicated to how Cambridgeshire is flat is not what I would consider interest facts about Shippea Hill station. He's also used photos from before 2012 showing an incorrect view of the station
Sadly as a few have pointed out berney arms has closed . Not suprisingly given its location but have spent many an evening there it was a great little place.
Wikipedia copy and paste video. The Berney Arms is long term closed, possibly and probably permanently. Berney arms station is still open but is now truly in the middle of nowhere.
The pub closed in late 2015 and won't be reopening any time soon, the RSPCA has put a stop to that. The station will remain open as long as the line does as part of the original terms of sale which guaranteed a station in perpetuity.

It's probably worth doing a bit of research before posting a vid like this. The Berney Arms pub has been closed since 2015.

In the Fens, where Shippea Hill is, then any land above the base line is a hill.
That was my Uncle who died by carrot lorry.
Those Shippea Hill pics are old - the manual level crossing gates were replaced in 2012.
❤❤🎉🎉
Pub was closed few years now Stations much the same

An HST through Shippea Hill
Almost certainly on a railtour - it had a headboard on it.
If you're doing train videos you need to do real research, not cut and paste from online sources. This video, frankly, is rubbish.
