- Journalist Pauli Van Wyk, who lifted a lid on the alleged corruption at VBS, says sentenced former bank chairperson Tshifhiwa Matodzi was the kingpin in the bank's 2018 collapse. Van Wyk pinpoints that Matodzi didn't make the affidavit without a strategy, which she believes was drafted with and for him. "There is a legal strategy behind this affidavit, lawyers who drafted it knew everyone would read it and would see how fast the scam happened... They knew it would cause problems for everyone who has denied ever being involved."

If anything at all it’s a case of gratification not corruption but a weak case of gratification nonetheless. Where is the proof that they stopped talking about the so called vbs after accepting the money? Where is the proof that they accepted the money and owned the vbs account? Where is the proof that they used the money? All we have are the words of a criminal

SARS did follow-the-money investigations on this matter and never linked the money to Malema. The only person who is involved is Floyd ‘s brother but there is an obsession to ensure Malema and Shivambu never stand the political sphere again.

Even IF the did accept a donation or loan, how could they have known vbs was fraudulent?

Nothing is going to happen to Matodzi accept that he is going to get a shorter sentence, he wont serve that 15 years, I doubt he will even serve 2 years in Jail because he has been bought to Implicate EFF in exchange for a less sentence, he is a criminal he knew that he was going to Jail but for a lesser sentence he had to do what he had to do time will tell. we will know the trueth.

Affidavit is someones statements it actually means almost nothing without evident to the statements made. Reading that affidavit you can tell that there is no proof that Malema and Shivambu received the money infact the Affidavit does admit that the money did not go to Malema's Account or EFF's Account. But we know that there is a smear campaign against EFF to discredit its leaders for what they stand for that is why they report about this matter as if there is anything for someone who really read and follow the news not relying on the main stream media will know that there is nothing against the EFF. In short there is nothing new in that Affidavit it is everything we already know that is going no where there wont be a case against Malema and Shivambu or EFF.
Be safe Pauli, and thank you on behalf of the thousands of victims, their family and their next generations who would have benefited and improved their future..is now pulled from under their feet. I don't defend EFF but the affidavit statement written against the accused remain void if there is no tangable evidence. Obligations of political parties implemented at IEC didn't state that a political party shouldn't receive money on a different account particularly on donations, if Am wrong about IEC obligations you can correct it.
I know that VBS was not a commercial bank and it should have not donated money to anyone in South Africa.

How convenient for Matodsi ,was he waiting for him to be found guilty for him to draft the affidavit, and did the justice system find him guilty without conducting a proper investigation involving so many people, CIC Malema have been asking one question that, if he was involved in VBS why is he not in courts to answer for that 🤔, and why affidavits are always leaked by a particular journalist or race.
