Hi Rob! I'm your biggest fan. Your content inspires me a lot. You were the main reason I started my career as an indiepreneur. I bought your book in the first day after you published it.
Just a friendly advice from a fellow TH-camr: attach your camera tighter. The video is shaking because your tripod is moving when you fidget. It can give some of your viewers motion sickness. I had the same problem so I noticed that.
Have a great day and merry Christmas!
Thanks for the feedback! I will try this out. Appreciate your support and suggestions, Merry Christmas to you as well :)
You said Architecture review, and I was automatically thinking about SW architecture. It took me a while to snap out of that. 🙂
Pretty amazing ideas 💡 I loved the stage setup idea seems not so complicated and could solve a real issue for many professionals
Glad you liked it!
Thanks Rob. Please add more content sales and distribution guidance too. We are building actively stuff using no-code primarily but completely stuck on sales. Most revenue is only when we build for clients (that's been going well but not scalable)
Here’s a MicroConf playlist dedicated to how to market and sell your product: th-cam.com/play/PLwcQbu9cKWcl_UtfqJyq_np7QJWBx3z8L.html&si=sVMLrocLhQdheVca
I am a dev with 20 years of experience.
The organization I'm in (huge org...) has moved hard into low code/no code solutions.
The lack of basic versioning and 'source control' and collaboration workflow in this world is stunning.
Huge market, though I think it will be very ecosystem specific.
MS, for example, has some in-house solutions for its Power Platform but it's like working in the mid 00's again. Lots of room for improvement.
As no code low code are for each vendor, only they can do code version control ? Or their code can be exported into yaml format
Dev with 20 yrs ? No response
@@samtx the exportable format would be different per vendor. Some may be textual, others binary, and others a mix.
7 sounds like a lot of fun to build and probably useful across a broad base. 8 sounds like hosting a lot of apps 😀 but the rest of it sounds easy enough; I'm already sitting on the MVP codebase for it. I haven't delved into low/no-code at all yet, so ???. Not super excited about building off other people's products. Not sure about building for venues, that would take a lot of market research to see what the demand is. Overall, this is a very thought-provoking episode of SaaS Ideas. Thank you!
You're welcome, thanks for watching! Have a great new year :)
Most no-code/low code platforms that are popular use custom encodings on the copiled files ...etc some of the have their own version control not as good as git.
At the end of the day is always better if a no-code platform always compiles that "code" to a open txt format to use git.
Version control is great
Isn't the last suggestion about testing html email by getting a preview on different devices already done by Litmus PutsMail?
seems amazing, bt good for ho can spend good amount of time into this!
I think an interesting video idea would be a video discussing how to vet existing Saas businesses for acquisition. Like if a business is making 400 bucks a month, and the customers are happy then clearly is a market there. However often times , finding the platform to buy these SaaS companies, and deciding when there’s potential for growth isn’t the easiest. I’d like to see how you can vet these. There are SaaS companies you can buy for 5k that are generating some revenue already. But if I buy it is the market not big enough ? Or how’s the maintenance ? Can I grow this thing to a 10k a month business. I’m not sure if this is something you’ve done already.
Thanks for the idea! We’ll add it to our consideration list.
How to Buy Saas company.. Where will I be able to search?
Hey we were doing idea for venues, and we stopped… seems like we havent tested enough with ads. Tyyyyy
What’s the app??
That rental one is genius
Glad you liked it!
On a few podcasts you’ve mentioned taking time off after exits. I am exiting a physical product business in the near future, a company around 10 years old with a sizeable payout. My question is that I have a 6 figure MRR SaaS product and a physical location around the product. Would you still recommend a time off period? Or would this be a case by case analysis?
I think it’s wise to consider most things are a case by case basis. In your case, I suppose it depends on how the time off will affect the SaaS business? Do you have a team supporting you that can support the business while you step away for a bit?
Yeah there is a sizable team. Content marketing may struggle from the time away but it could be planned accordingly based on your advice.
Company I currently work for has a solution developed for exactly what idea #3 describes :)
Which is?

I would love to execute idea N.4 (in-person event venu setup planner). How can I contact the submitter of this idea? There isn't any contact in nugget page..
We don’t have any additional contact info. I’d suggest reaching out to event venues to further validate the problem.
thanks for this . i am a developer
Great! Thanks for watching, hope this helps!
First saas sounds like requires a lot of attention on data privacy.
So who launched any one of these ideas and got some profits on it? Please share for transparency :)

He is doing it .. one of his ideas is to share ideas ..
Too busy running our Tiny Seed accelerator and multiple other companies, but I like to share these opportunities with our community when they come up. Hope that helps, have a great holiday!

"Person hours," I can't believe I just heard that. The squishiness is unbelievable.
All these 7 ideas are quite generic, there are already more than 100 saas in each domain
Really? Can you point me to some Saas for idea N#4?
