Where did you buy that carbon fiber ring where you shift gears???
I wrapped the shifter ring with 3D carbon fiber vinyl.
It looks great better than the stock one ...I really want to get one ...did you order yours longer than the stock one... cuase I got the option to go 1" or more longer. ...I wanted to get the same as yours ...it looks bulky just the way I wanted, don't like how the stock look.

Where did you get that carbon fiber ring that goes at the base of your shifter, the ring that goes around the outside of your shifter boot
I wrapped mine. If you want something different, you can also get a metal one from www.acarguysgarage.com/collections/scion-tc-only-parts/products/replacement-scion-tc2-2-5-shifter-beauty-ring

Did you get only ole carbon fiber wrap or a specific one?
@@keitht8595 I just used VViViD 3D carbon fiber wrap.
Is there a way you got the wire from the old boot to stick in place on the new boot?
I just stuck it above the stitch line on the new boot, and it stayed in place when I reinstalled it. If you're having problems with it staying secure, you could always get a needle and some heavy-duty thread secure in place.
@@VampyreX13 thanks so much! I just bought a boot from their site and saw they said to thread it through the hem. But knowing i can do it either way is comforting.

You probably could. I've seen other users install shifter boots on their automatics.
Where'd you get the silver ebrake button? I've been having a hard time finding one that fits in the stock ebrake handle.
Nvm I'm dum lol I just realized that's the stock one for the 2014-2016 🤦♂️I thought it was aftermarket or something because I have a 2012 and it's just flat black

I’m probably going to try to cook something custom up for the automatic transmission’s shifter… the plastic-sliding-on-plastic look just isn’t doing it for me. I found some marine grade vinyl on clearance, so I ordered a bunch (regular and 4-way stretch) to play with (I’m not a vegan or anything like that, but I dislike having animal products in machinery… it rubs my engineering senses wrong) so I don’t think I’ll be getting any “genuine” leather, though… 🤔
