Super sweet build. I was wondering why you were using lower tier parts with super nice fancy fans/mobo. Glad you explained it. Once you get the I9, 4080, and AIO this system will be beautiful and a beast. Well done.
If those fans aren't reverse blades, then you should really think about reversing the fans, otherwise all the fans are working as outatakes, blowing air out, not bringing in fresh air. The front and bottom ones should be intakes, top and back ones should be outtakes for good airflow. Try to watch some videos and get a good idea. Good luck.
Going intel after everything that has come out about 13/14 gen? Why? I lost 17% performance across the board in all workloads on my i9 14900k after the latest microcode update to 'fix' their hardware issue, and the worst part is there is no way to know if my cpu has corrosion/oxidation already in it or not, and if it will degrade further or not.
@@Natebeencozy Yeah man its rough. The microcode clearly limited the max voltages which pulled performance down significantly. I wish all the reviewers would go back and redo their tests, because right now if you watch any of those videos with the old data you're getting bad info. A brand new 14900k, or any 13/14 gen really, will not get the same results as they did before this microcode update. Its so frustrating, I hope somehow Intel pays for this mess. They certainly lost my trust at least.

Man I’ve been on the fence about that for a really long time now. I figured the microcode fix would water them down but dang.. 17% is crazy
