40:05 i will say, you never want the pump below the aio, it will severely age it and could even kill it, you always want the pump/tubes to be above the aio, other than that everything is incredibly smooth and to the point, incredible job
As long as the connectors for the Radiator are above the CPU block (which usually houses the pump) you are perfectly fine. You just never want the PUMP (which again, is the CPU block) to be above the tubes. AIO stands for "All in One" and is the name for the whole cooling system.

I'm glad you found the video helpful ! It's hard at first, but def worth it ! I use Lian Li's L-Connect 3 software to control the fans, and ASUS Armoury Crate for the rest of the lights
Waiting for my new Processor, after that it will be my first complete Build. Now I am confindent enough to build it. Many Thanks for your time to put out this detailed Video.
I just followed this build video almost part for part and it was incredibly helpful! The main difference for me was I didn't use the Strimmer cables which vastly simplified the cable management; I no longer needed the Internal USB Hub since I only had two USB 2.0 devices at that point, the Kraken and the Lian Li fan controller.
I'm glad this video helped you out ! Yes without strimmer the cable management is easier and requires 1 less SATA power and USB 2.0 connectors. If you ever wanted to add something additional that requires usb 2.0, you can always get a splitter as well.
@@FIREWOLFTECH Shouldn’t the air from the 3 fans of the AIO NZXT come out of the PC because it expels hot air from the water heated by the CPU instead of bringing in air that will warm up in contact with the water heated by the CPU?

Where did you put reverse and standard blade fans? Reverse fans to aio and bottom and standard to top and exaust?right? And maybe you can left nzxt own fans as addition from other side? 6 fans on aio will be better?
Reverse on side and bottom, Standard on top and rear. Having a push/pull config isn't worth it to me, I've seen many claims that its only a 1-2 degree difference.
I personally haven't tried the flow, but since it doesn't have that piece, you should be able to attach the fans right on top or it might have a removable tray
If we decide to mount our gpu horizontally the traditional way ,is it safe to keep bottom fans below the gpu, wont they opposite each other at high rpms while gaming?
Sir since you are using one lianli controller to control all fans power and rgb so one connection from psu(sata) is enough to run these fans with power and light? Nzxt claim its controller can handle 9 fans through splitter so same goes for nzxt one controller and one psu (sata connection ) for power?
if motherboard does not have any rgb or argb header will this setup work? H9 elite with inbuilt nzxt rgb duo fans + 3 lian li infinity fans (triple pack) both will have there own controllers
As long as the controllers are connected to the motherboard via USB, you should be able to control the fans with the software. I didn’t connect any argb header at all.
So far the best video i have watched.Clear walk through to where everything goes! Im hoping to build something like this in a few months! Pretty nervous. We got to learn at some point

@@FIREWOLFTECHhello sir i was wondering if i decide to make a build in h9 elite, The fans that come by default with this case will look good with 3 extra lian li fans at bottom+ nzxt krkaen aio
Stupid question… since you put the fans on top of the AIO wouldn’t it create hot air or the wouldn’t there be zero airflow since the glass on top of the case is shut ?
I should've put it on this video since it did sag a little bit. If you get a ROG STRIX card, it comes with it in the box, other wise you can look up : anti-sag bracket and you'll see the pillar/pen style. If you look at my other H9 Elite video : th-cam.com/video/h3jfhlMUxoo/w-d-xo.html I have one there
The one I’m using is 12VHPWR on both sides with 12 light guides. I believe the one your referring to is PCIe 8pin for GPUs without the 12VHPWR and/or if your PSU doesn’t have it
@FIREWOLFTECH yeah I think my current gpu the 7800xt Merc 319 is 8pin and saw lian li had option for two or three 8pin as well as the 12VHPWR.. Until the rtx 50 series comes out guess I'll have to grab the 8pin... Thanks
Yeah 8-pin is the one you want. There’s a high chance next gen AMD and INTEL gpus are going to use the 12VHPWR. I hope they do cause that connection is easier to manage
Okay, question. So I'm doing a VERY similar pc build this week and using Lian Li fans and the same case. Trying to finalize the fan orientations/air flow. Am I correct in seeing that there are 6 intake fans (bottom and radiator fans) with the other 4 being exhaust fans? Is there a reason for this? My understanding was that you should have negative air pressure inside the case (more air going out than coming in) to increase overall new air flow through the PC and decrease warm air just circulating around with no place to go. I haven't built a PC in about 10 years so I must admit it feels like I'm starting from scratch again so any suggestions would be appreciated. I was thinking about having the bottom be intake and then the top, side, and rear fans be exhaust. Ideally, I'd like to have 4 intake/6 exhaust, but with the way this case is set up, it'd be 3 intake/7 exhaust which seems TOO negative. Would I be able to adjust the fan speed and lower the intake fan speeds with the video's fan orientation to create neutral or negative air pressure? I'm probably overthinking this, but I just don't know lol. Thanks!
I’m no expert when it comes to the air pressure, but the majority of builds use the same concept, the reasoning is you want cold air from bottom and side coming in, and blowing the hot air from the top and rear. This cools all your components from bottom up. Another reason too is that it also prevents dust build up in the PC. And finally, YES you can adjust the airflow on each set of fans independently to create that positive, negative, or neutral airflow. I leave them all running the same, but I don’t honestly know if that is the most optimal, I’ll have to look into it
looking to buy a prebuilt pc with this case but was wondering with the Elite, where does the top fans even push the air out? or its just for looks you did it this way? thanks!
Yo I need help with the fans like idk I looked on your Amazon storefront and saw only one triple pack of fans is that all I need I’m getting it tmr, so I need to do it quick😭😭😭😭 ik it’s 6 reverse and 4 regular but idk which ones I need help
That link for triple pack should take you to the LIAN li infinity fan Amazon page with all the other infinity fans (it has each color, size, standard, reverse). Since all fans are part of the same Amazon listing, it wouldn’t let me choose each one. So make sure you pick up 1 triple pack, 1 standard, and 6 reverse !
i'm thinking about building this whole setup but It seems really expensive but at the same time I want to do competitive streaming should I just pull the trigger?
Look if you really want this specific build you can but if I were you I would look for cheaper components. Like the gpu he uses is one of the most expensive in the market to could save $200-$300 by going with a different one
lian li's software has a passthrough function for the motherboard rgb. you can still plug in the 3 pin; but use the motherboard unless you want to. it lets you switch between them.
@@holdenaguillard7565 Depends what hardware you use. Typically the motherboard RGB software can sync with most things, if not a universal controller like thermaltake's controller can be used to sync RGB. Otherwise you can use 3rd party software like Signal RGB to sync things up... its messy, it's based on tons of hardware variables... the simplest solution is to either use all the same brand, or just skip the RGB altogether...
Hello sir i was doing some research over the placement of aio in the cabinet and they said top placement is recommened and side placement with tubes up has the worst thermals 😢.. even i want to place all the components the way you did
AIO on top is the best, AIO on side with tubes down is better, and AIO on side with tubes up is ok. Having it the way I have it is perfectly fine, and the only upside of having it in the side is that the radiator will get cooler air versus hot air when on top
To add on, if this was the H9 Flow or any other case, I would put AIO on top. But since I have the H9 Elite with top glass, why would I make it look horrible with the radiator on top, for that it defeats the purpose in my opinion. The way I look at it, the H9 elite has way better airflow then the 011 Vision where you can’t mount anything on top
@@FIREWOLFTECH the top glass makes h9 elite premium and we still can use it… sir my motherboard does not have any rgb headers Can i still run all h9 elite fans with rgb using the cabinet controller and fan splitter comes with h9 elite caninet

If we decide to mount our gpu horizontally the traditional way ,is it safe to keep bottom fans below the gpu, wont they opposite each other at high rpms while gaming?
of course its safe, you get more airflow going into your GPU which is a plus
the AM5 bracket elecgear on amazon with silicon is good ?
That last plug in the controller box for lian li does that go to a ARGB and the other small cable to the fan header?
Yes, but that’s only if you want the motherboard to control the fans
Do the mixture of nzxt inbuilt fans and lianli infinity fans look good in h9 elite
I prefer having all fans the same, but if you had to mix them, I’m pretty sure it’ll still look good
Sir since you are using one lianli controller to control all fans power and rgb so one connection from psu(sata) is enough to run these fans with power and light? Nzxt claim its controller can handle 9 fans through splitter so same goes for nzxt one controller and one psu (sata connection ) for power?
if motherboard does not have any rgb or argb header will this setup work? H9 elite with inbuilt nzxt rgb duo fans + 3 lian li infinity fans (triple pack) both will have there own controllers
As long as the controllers are connected to the motherboard via USB, you should be able to control the fans with the software. I didn’t connect any argb header at all.
The front fans which comes pre installed are they already installed as intake fans or do we have to flip them?
the pre installed fans are intake (which is the back side of the fan)
So far the best video i have watched.Clear walk through to where everything goes! Im hoping to build something like this in a few months! Pretty nervous. We got to learn at some point
Thanks ! I really appreciate your comment, I'm glad you found this tutorial helpful :) I can understand the feeling since I went through it with my first build, but I promise it'll be a great experience 🔥
With the help of your video and my motherboard manual i have managed to build my very first pc, booted well and currently installing windows! Thank you for showing us
@@r_slxyz398 AWESOME 🔥Thanks for sharing :)
I don’t have access to the reverse blades, what should I do?
@@hinatahiro9252 have you checked online? Or any store that sell the reverse blades?
Hi brother, where did you find the GIF of the NZXT water-cooled LCD Charizard? I also want to find it for Charizard X
You could look up Charizard Sprites. There’s several websites that have the GIFs depending on which generation
what screwdriver head do i need for the case
Love your videos!!!❤️ I am planning to build pc like your white one. However I would rather wait 1 year and spend $2000 on rtx 5090 than spending it now on rtx 4090.
Much love!❤️
I appreciate the support 🔥
Hopefully when the 5090 comes out, it’ll be under $2000 😅 this guide would be the same for the white as well
@@FIREWOLFTECHhello sir i was wondering if i decide to make a build in h9 elite,
The fans that come by default with this case will look good with 3 extra lian li fans at bottom+ nzxt krkaen aio
Stupid question… since you put the fans on top of the AIO wouldn’t it create hot air or the wouldn’t there be zero airflow since the glass on top of the case is shut ?
Whats your anti sag prior the vertical mounted option? the small pen type anti sag for gpu? what was it? definitely need that! thanks
I should've put it on this video since it did sag a little bit. If you get a ROG STRIX card, it comes with it in the box, other wise you can look up : anti-sag bracket and you'll see the pillar/pen style. If you look at my other H9 Elite video : th-cam.com/video/h3jfhlMUxoo/w-d-xo.html I have one there
Double or triple 8pin Strimer cables?
I hope they do cause that connection is easier to manage
did you set your fans to quiet mode?
So your saying if I powered it with a 850W I would need to run 2 cables from power to gpu ?
I leave them all running the same, but I don’t honestly know if that is the most optimal, I’ll have to look into it
There is a solid glass panel over the top fans ?
Yes I would say 80% is glass and 20% are vents
Personally, if able to see the top of the case, i’d have put reverse blades there too, but it’s a beautiful build, inspiring guide.
That would also look great ! Me personally I like the inside to all look uniform; but if I had this PC on the floor, reverse would be FIRE 🔥
looking to buy a prebuilt pc with this case but was wondering with the Elite, where does the top fans even push the air out? or its just for looks you did it this way? thanks!
Yes it pushes out air. There’s a side top vent plus the whole back and back side of the case is all ventilated
I know it might look the best but you’re saving lots of money by doing that you could even upgrade to a better gpu with the savings
lian li's software has a passthrough function for the motherboard rgb. you can still plug in the 3 pin; but use the motherboard unless you want to. it lets you switch between them.
What software do you use to sync all the lights on a build like this ?
@@holdenaguillard7565 Depends what hardware you use. Typically the motherboard RGB software can sync with most things, if not a universal controller like thermaltake's controller can be used to sync RGB. Otherwise you can use 3rd party software like Signal RGB to sync things up... its messy, it's based on tons of hardware variables... the simplest solution is to either use all the same brand, or just skip the RGB altogether...
@@boss350z5 do you know if Lian li fans are compatible with aura sync ?
Do you think my 850 psu is enough for all of that I legit have the same exact thing but my strimmers on my gpu only half light up
This video saved me 250. I built almost the same PC. Just different fans and GPU.
🔥🔥 which fans and gpu you went with ?
@@FIREWOLFTECH I went with the NZXT duo fans. Micro center was charging 250 to build it. I was like no way. Your video helped a ton.
@@FIREWOLFTECH the top glass makes h9 elite premium and we still can use it… sir my motherboard does not have any rgb headers
Can i still run all h9 elite fans with rgb using the cabinet controller and fan splitter comes with h9 elite caninet
How did you get the Strimmer cable to connect to the GPU ? I have the same GPU and same cable but the black part of the strimmer cable near the pins gets in the way and doesn’t let me connect it to GPU. I really would appreciate your help with this, please.
Sometimes you have to maneuver it to get it to fit. Are you doing horizontal or vertical ?
@@FIREWOLFTECH Horizontal mounting. Man I swear I've tried everything, I even think they are just not compatible but then you managed to do it just fine. I am using the 8 light guide one, maybe it’s because of that ? The left side is the one giving me trouble to fit in.
How many reverse fans ? Sure you said 4 standard and 6 reverse however it looks like you have 9 reverse and 1 standard ?
4 standard (3 top 1 rear ) and 6 reverse (bottom 3 and side 3)
Damm how can I get those fans with out the LCD screen thing
Wait where u get the controller for the strimmer cables?
the motherboard strimmer should have the controller
@@FIREWOLFTECH ahhh makes sense, my nearest micro center didint have that one and only the gpu one lol, fucked up my build so thats gonna have to wait, thank you for the info
@@DiegoRodriguez-ru5if you can always add the strimmers later if you want to get things up and running. Hope the build ends up great !
@@FIREWOLFTECHthanks so much, im sorry for bothering and going off topic but what case would you recommend if i need space? So i was trying to do your build but with a suprim liquid 4090 and its not a good fit lmao it all went well till the gpu lol
Why is the radiator hose above pump level ?
How do I have all my fans on the same size while still maintaining the intake and outtake?
The side and bottom fan blades are REVERSE blade, while the top and back fan blades are facing normal
Thanks mate, juste mounted my pc thanks to you copiying your setup. I suscribed !!
Thanks for the sub 🔥🔥
how many total Lian li fans do I need of each kind?
i love your build and will build myself a similar build in a few weeks with the amd 9800x3d and the RTX 5090. would you suggest some changes now? for example there are new lian li wireless fans, but sadly not the infinity ones so i think i stick with your partlist for now. thanks a lot.
where did bro get the rtx 5090 tho 😭
So do I buy the kraken cooler then replace the fans or can I just buy the radiator?
You could just buy the radiator if you can, since you’ll be replacing the fans that come in the kraken elite
@@FIREWOLFTECH I need help, I'm in doubt between the H9 Flow and the Lian Li Evo11 which would be better in your opinion, please elaborate
Are you using the nzxt hub only for the aio pump?
Would this build work with a h9 flow instead of the elite?
Yes ! you can follow the same steps
Can you use all reverse blade fans?
