    Sean, You are such a gentleman and a fine restorer of properties. It is a pleasure to follow along with your work and I am learning so much just by watching you redo this space. I am looking forward to seeing how you manage the wall that needs to be replaced too. The drip edge on the outside of the window is really awesome and I learned something about the aluminum drip edge that makes such good sense to boot. Thank you!!

    Stucco render or brick around the window both look great. The variety of stone work in the different building sections adds charm and character to the cottages I say point the stone work up and leave it exposed shows the history.

    • @Seans_World
      @Seans_World  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Unfortunately it has been pointed with cement and it would take forever to remove. There will be stonework exposed around doors and windows lintels etc, it's traditional here

    Hi Sean, the quality of your videos have greatly improved. To make it even better, I would suggest switching your camera from "auto" to "manual". What that will do is prevent the image from getting noisy and blurry in low light conditions (like inside the cottage). The only thing you''ll have to do is adjust the ISO setting depending on the level of light of the place you're filming in (Billy did that when he filmed his vlogs). The higher the ISO, the better it is going to perform in low light. Cheers !

    I'd say don't put a window right against a corner if you can possibly help it. It's better to leave negative space all the way around a window, because it ends up feeling claustrophobic otherwise. Doors can go in corners because they visually extend the space, but windows don't have the same effect. They need breathing room to work out as frames around selections of the outdoors.
