If you can do it yourself you will be better off.
This is the way I’ve lived my adult life….doing (almost) everything ourselves. We built an addition (with new kitchen) to our old house, turned two rooms into one, built a double garage, and poured the driveway. The house we’re currently in - we stripped wallpaper, scraped old textured ceilings, added a bathroom and kitchenette in the basement, re-did the floors, built a new kitchen, and added a shed. I’ve always felt that the reason we live as well as we do is because we do most everything ourselves. I love quilts, so I took up quilting. My husband does most of the home repairs. We rarely eat out because we eat so much better if we stay home and cook. I look forward to seeing future projects on your home place.

I adore natural gardens like yours. This area must be very high in biodiversity. I was trained in an ecology park in England, my teacher always said, nature hates straight lines. In other words, let nature do its thing, intervene only where necessary.
The Greenhouse look's amazing ....Love the saying it's not a race it's a Journey :) loved the tour again ❤ .Talking about the willow I was a caretaker and Gardner for a school and I ordered willow from the Sandringham estate and made Willow structures and tunnels for the children it looked amazing
I don't know much, but as a Canadian, I can tell you about the Maple tree. When the leaves die off, Cut the Dead off. Tar it. Dig some holes around the trunk, approximately 4' away from the center of it. Drop worms, fish bits, etc. to help the roots find nutrients. Over the winter, you know what happens. Good luck! If you have to prune that very large willow, Sean, you could use the prunings to make a 'wicker' fence/barrier.
