The person who built or decorated this pursued a black and white theme in a green cool environment like Nairobi. He should have used parquet flooring instead of the black and white tiles. Then all black and grey painting should be converted to soft yellows and creams and browns of plastering. White walls with dashes of blue skirting do perfectly well in hot coastal areas; black should be extremely minimized in any decorations of a home. Otherwise, he has done a wonderful job overall. Finishes I agree depends on personal preferences a lot.

Amazing design. However, the balcony in the master bedroom seems unnecessary since there's already a dedicated terrace on that floor. I would utilize that space for something else. Also, it makes no sense to have such a beautiful home without an important amenity like a study room or area.
