Hey Ola, My first job was at the B.C. Rich custom shop in Hesperia CA when I was in high school during the last days of Bernie Rico Sr and up until Bernie Jr sold the company. As incredible as those guitars were, now that I'm 20 years older I'd much rather buy a Solar guitar because I know you're personally involved and love your guitars as much as I loved those old Riches. Thank you for being you and thank you for the incredibly fast shipping of your CD I received in the mail yesterday.
I met Bernie Jr at our K mart in hesperia CA, he gave me his card and said come check out the shop sometime, I did and hung out there way too much. After about a year or so of bugging them constantly Jr pretty much said, do something or beat it. So I started by sweeping the floors and then helping in the paint shop. I didn't know it at the time but my Aunt dated Bernie Sr's step son throughout college in the 80s. When I found out and told Sr who I was in relation to her, I could see it click on his head who I was talking about and he gets this big smile and says damn she had a great set of legs lol.
I have a 'Virgin'. Found it on ebay mislabeled as a 'beast' or one of the other ridiculous model names for $150, and it's actually amazing despite the previous owner battering it up a bit.

if you want the essential picks go for "At the Heart of Winter" or "Pure Holocaust", those two are the definitive Immortal albums. Also, I'm 24 and love your videos.
LOVED this video, Ola, thanks for the entertainment! Also, the contents of your video are very applicable to my life at this very moment. I'm almost 38 years old (since you asked), and for Father's Day this year, my gorgeous and amazing wife bought me my grail guitar, which I've wanted ever since I was in High School! It's a jet black B.C. Rich Warlock NJ Series, full custom shop order (even the original B.C. Rich coffin case that it came with!), that was (prior to my getting it) owned - since original purchase in 1999 - by the original purchaser, and he played it so little that it's LITERALLY in fresh-from-the-factory condition! I had to drive nearly 3 hours to pick it up, but the guy and I totally clicked anyway and although he was sad to let go of it, he said that my immense excitement and love for it was what helped him feel happier than his sadness. He was just very happy to know how truly appreciated it was going to be. In a way, it's like re-homing a beloved family pet. Anyway, I just figured that my story related to your video's content and that you might enjoy reading it. Either way, rock on brother!
34, initially a drummer, then a vocalist, then I dabbled on bass for some tracks and now I'm over to try guitar and vocals in my new band ! Rock and roll. I came over to your page to learn about some pedals and then decided I like you and your videos so subscribed and have been doing at least a video a day for a few weeks now. You play like a demon, you're funny, you come across as genuine and like you LOVE the heavy stuff. Rock on Ola man
I'm 45 and kind of quit playing guitar for awhile until I started watching your videos. You have also inspired me to buy a lot of gear so not sure if I should thank you for that lol Also I hope bc rich makes a comeback. I've owned a mockingbird with like a purple crackle finish, pure 80's lol. Also had a bich with a dimebucker in it and a 7 string warlock that I put an emg 707 in. Wish I still had all those guitars lol. Hope some of the new models have the widow headstock. Didn't see one in the images you showed.
