Great job Steve , has the offside abs sensor wire been catching, looks a bit like it has , cheers for the info , my mate tries to rally a fiesta similar to yours , sequential gearbox etc , spent a fortune on the box , about 7k with a well known company that starts with a "Q"' , it been out at least 3 times , pile of shite the gearbox, he did 1/2 a mile in it on a rally and it locked up in 2 gears , no guarantee Sir , it's Motorsport use , he's now having a box built by someone else , lsd, n better gear kit , modern technology at its best , I've not fixed a car in nearly 2 weeks , most suppliers are closed and also dealers are too, time for more DIY , take care

Steve do you know if this would work on a mk8?
Mine has factory KW coilovers so a fair bit lower than a normal ST

I can remember doing a simular thing to my group 4 mk1 escort, where you would remove the old steering rack mounts and weld on slightly longer ones. I was looking to do the same to my fiesta as you have here, then i found these Jems, my god so simple and saves so much time and hassle, remove the bump steer in a few moments and no major work needed and if you have a gunson wheel tracking tool even more so. Also you can swap out the special ball joints and go back to standard if you need too. There made by whiteline, will leave a link. th-cam.com/video/6syyFZn_pN0/w-d-xo.html

It has no mot so only way I can drive it is by booking in an mot and driving to the garage. So won't be next video but as soon as I can drive it I will. Maybe have to wait till after corona.

Hi Steve, just watching use that grinder to cut the bolts. Please don't use the grinder that way because if it grabs what your cutting that grinder & spinning disc is going to get your right in the stomach or gonads! Use it so if it does grab or slips in your gloved hand then it's either going to go away from you or drop to the floor, stay safe.

yes this is a real danger of using these kind of tools. no one appears to realise but it happens more often than people think. if it catches you good you'll be in hospital. kick back its called.

I don't have a vice for pillar drill to hold the Washers. Was just easier this way.
