Them doing all their crazy stuff in my home town area. West Chester was put on the map being on MTV. Sad to say I still drive by where Ryan Dunn passed away all the time and still think about him how funny he was.
I remember a lot of people kept trying to say Bam wasn’t Phil’s son because they look nothing alike… Come twenty years later, not a single person is saying Bam ain’t his Son, because Bam aged into Phil.
I never heard anyone say that first part, but that second is scary true, but Phil's addiction is apparently food+probably genes. Super rad dad tho from what I've seen. Cool that Steve-O was on his side during the JA4 filming. I don't care what Bam does with his life, but he'll always be one of those guys you were stoked on as a kid, imo.
So for context on the Vito situation, he was drunk and doing a meet-and-greet and the girl came up to him for a photo with Don Vito doing his signature "boob grab" thing only he normally hovers his hand away from the chest, but in that situation, he was apparently drunk and accidentally tapped her chest when doing the pose and then the parent of the girl came after Vito for everything he got (which it was dumb for Vito to even have done that pose at all with someone that age). Source for this info is on The Nine Club podcast with Bam, he states what had happened.
Wasn't a lost episode, it aired on MTV. I watched this dude go over the waterfall and then come out saying he was in more pain than he'd ever been in in his entire life, but got away with zero actual broken bones.
Idk about you guys but I like Viva La Bam WAY more than the Jackass TV show and movies. I thought it was just the perfect show for teenagers, and especially the time that it was on. It's basically if given enough money and free time what EVERY teenager wished they could do.
@@welcomehomelucy5153 The culture of the world plus the timing of that show was just too perfect to ignore. It was like a Tony Hawk's Pro Skater game come to life. Plus I was in like 8th-9th grade at the time, so it was exactly what every boy my age wished they could do. Also as an aside, I vividly remember the "State of Bam" episode where they made a constitution and had to have it ratified, and they were all making fun of Raab because he didn't know when the Civil War was, it was the first time I ever saw it was "cool" to be smart, rather than cool to be ignorant.
@@zoomersareannoying7488 I agree with him and think it was better than Jackass, especially CKY, and I'm not a kid lol and SteveO always tried way too hard to me but the CKY crew were literally just vibing. They captured the feeling of being young and dumb in the skate scene back then.
@@zoomersareannoying7488 regardless of how often it came out I still think Bam, Dico, Dunn, and Rabb, were hilarious and had a better vibe than any of the jackass guys. Besides Chris Pontius, he's perfection 😆
Since the top star of VIva La Bam is going through his demons, I wish Bam Margera the best in his sobriety. It's not easy but I believe Margera can skate through his demons.
One thing to note was Viva la bam did have the longest running show like you mentioned but it was actually 42 episodes. Really technically 43. The ice episode you mentioned was aired on tv during the time and two other episodes were made since his show recieved a special called "viva la spring break" that aired in 2006 as a two part special.
Yep. Bam was all but officially back in the movie, but he blew off a morning video call because he got loaded the night before. The dude is a spoiled brat who takes no responsibility for his actions, and blames everyone but himself.
Been watching viva la bam (and sometimes cky) ever since it came out. Not like everyday but like when I wanna watch something on the go or just plain bored I go to viva la bam. I never get tired of any episodes and still am a fan of bam despite his problems 👍👍😁😁
See CKY pretty much created Jackass. It’s like because Bam has addiction problems he’s automatically put as this villain. Without that there’s nothing you can say. Bam and his crew were the funniest. I’m sorry. Steve O and Johnny were cool but they seemed kind of superficial. Especially now. Bam and Dunn stayed real throughout the whole thing. They were the funniest. To me that is.
The Lost Episode was released with Bam's Viva La Bands Vol. 1 CD. It had a DVD with that episode and some other Jackass skits. I'm a big fan of Bam myself. It's really sad how everything has been going downhill since Ryan Dunn's death. But he really needs to buck up and get real help and stick with it. Dude has a kid. He really has no excuse not to get better for his family and friends. If Novak can do it and stay clean. So can Bam!
I agree, I feel like he's to used to being that big star in his own head so he feels entitled and as if he should be pampered but times have changed. This generation doesn't really view bam like the last generation did. He just has to reinvent himself and be more mature
Bam’s a really good dude. The trauma of suddenly losing your best friend is torturous and hard to accept. Losing Ryan completely spun Bam’s life downward and he’s obviously struggling. I hope Bam finds some peace and is able to find himself again.

The blatant disrespect to the CKY videos is really sad. Bam didn't need big brother for Viva La Bam he was already do those things from his CKY films...
I loved viva la bam. I wish I could watch all the episodes again but I can't find anywhere online to watch the episodes and I can't find even where to buy the seasons on DVD for the usa
Do a episode on MTV SHOW 2GET+HER. A Boy Band Era spoof that was amazing enough to even have a full length movie. It had Chris Farleys brother Kevin, A kid(QT) who had cancer and died(on the show and and real life), and Mickey fuckin Parke.
I dunno, I think Bam deserves more credit but he can’t take it all. Weren’t most of the future Jackass crew recording videos of themselves doing stupid shit/skateboarding stunts?
Ultimately skateboarding became the least interesting feature. When I think jackass, there is no skateboard on my mind. It's Steve O getting stapling his balls, or Knoxville riding a bull. It was about "the guys", and Bam was just one of them and arguably not the one with most appeal. Steve O really stole the show imho and Knoxville as later confirmed, was the guy who could be a face for the mainstream.
Jackass wouldn't have made it without Bam and his crew. Knoxville was a talent but Bam was already on his way. He just got jacked by older and wiser people. Too bad.
Knoxville being present for only one episode of VLB or not present at all for Haggard is proof of nothing. Did we ever see Steve-o, Dave England or Wee Man in either of these? You guys either don't know what you're talking about or you're trying to sensationalize everything and create a story where it doesn't exist. Knoxville had his own career going. You know, come to think of it, Sean Penn also appeared in only one episode of VLB and didn't appear in Haggard. There must have been a fraught relationship between him and Bam also.
Him and Knoxville are dodgy as fuck. They must have had conversations/meetings early on discussing how they are going to copy Bam (CKY) but include Bam to keep him happy. Knoxville has said he never liked Bam and I wonder why Bam didn't like him. I always thought cutting the roof off Bams hummer in Viva La Bam was very passive aggressive. Ofc they fucked with each other but that episode was weird, an underlying tension but pretending to be friends.
It’s sooo fkn sad that “it seems worse today” that stunts were looked at “um can’t show this bc some dumbass will replicate it” but who am I kidding today it would’ve been somebody hurt somebody’s feelings make them go “whine” and they would be forced to pull it!
Yes I guess pretty much base of a CKY like people were saying that's why you don't ever sell out . Just like rappers always complain about regular labels doing shitty deals. What was your favorite prank on "Viva La Bam"?
When they threw trash bags at vito in his house
When they made Bam fall into the pit of snakes was the best prank I can recall. He hated snakes. There was pure terror in his face.
Them doing all their crazy stuff in my home town area. West Chester was put on the map being on MTV. Sad to say I still drive by where Ryan Dunn passed away all the time and still think about him how funny he was.
To this day Ryan Dunn's passing affected Bam so much thats why he cant get over his addiction imo.
Anything that revolves around Don Vito.
