Batam Island Tour: Local Food + Strolling + Best Massage + Resort Room Tour + Cheap Seafood

Another option for a cheap getaway! Just an hour of ferry away from Singapore, we are in another country to relax and be a millionaire! HAHA.
Here we are at Batam, Riau Islands, Indonesia! Just a fun fact, Batam Island is the largest city of the province of Riau Islands!
Batam Trip Itinerary
7AM SGT Ferry from Singapore to Batam
7AM WIT Arrive at Batam Center (feels like magic! HAHAHA)
Upon arrival we looked for the driver of the car, Tomi, that we hired for the whole span of our trip.
The locations included in the video are the following:
📍Welcome to Batam Monument
📍Maha Vihara Duta Maitreya Monastery, said to be the largest Buddhist temple in Batam and might also be in the Southeast Asia!
After a quick trip to those places, we ate at a kopitiam along the road which I am not sure about the name. 😂 and Tomi also suggested that we see this over looking spot at a highway where we can see the residential area of Batam while the industrial area can be seen when you cross to the other side of the road. This was quite cool as it seems to be a border between two areas.
After this, we went to stroll at the mall.
📍Grand Batam Mall
📍BCS Mall, checked and tried the sample Kueh Lapis of Lamoist but decided not to buy it.
We then went to a home bakery,
📍Diana Layer Cakes, tried out their samples. It was so good and we bought their original variant.
I really like how we can just taste the samples of each store's kueh lapis. HAHA. ✌️
At around 1pm, we decided to head to our hotel for early check-in.
📍HARRIS Resort Barelang
We checked in, settled our things in the room, and headed out right away for a 2 hour massage!!!
Headed to our scheduled massage at 3:30pm,
📍INDOTHAI Massage
This could be the best massage in Batam. It was so relaxing. Omg.
Ofc, after a very long massage, we got hungry and headed out to Harbour Bay for a seafood dinner! Many people suggested this seafood restaurant and it didn't disappoint!
📍Wey Wey Seafood
We ordered a lot. We were overwhelmed and excited to eat seafood. HAHA. Watch out for the next episode of this video!
