I'm so happy that Super Starscream is alive(0:23) and his enormous crown is still with him! Those three Autobots never had a chance to beat SS along with Noisemaze/Sideways and Soundwave.
This intro made me realized how little Decepticons (there are like 7) were there in the show compared to the 30+ Autobots. No wonder they made Megatron/Galvatron, Starscream, Soundwave, and Sideways so powerful to confiscate the small numbers.
Megatron, Starscream, and Thundercracker appear to be the only Decepticons at the start of the show. Everyone else is directly recruited from the colony worlds (with the exception of the Decepticon monster army hibernating on Earth).

Actually, the Japanese show had a way more epic score, better voice performances, and actually coherent characters throughout the show. This opening isn't mischaracterizing what style Studio Gonzo was going for. It's just how heavily localized the USA version that's bad, but many North Americans will tell you that they prefer it just because they don't like foreign languages or subtitles.
I wish the Takara Tomy and The Hasbro will bring the song of the second opening ignition of Galaxy force to the Other series of Transformers those who are in Japanese.

Galaxy Force was effectively the UT incarnation of Transformers Victory. It lacks in substance but all it needed was to be hype as fuck and have a bunch of cool robots.

This is the series that made mecha a lifelong infatuation! P.S. All the shounenbabbies can cry about mecha not being "about the characters", I don't give a damn. You're literally watching capeshit, at least mecha offers lovely mechanical designs. It's the intelligent man's action show.

Transformers series made in Japan has characters with awesome powers and super modes.
Japanese G1 was thankfully a little more tame. Most we got back then were Godmasters, Pretenders and Star Saber.
