This is exactly what I've been looking for! I clear explanation of DFT along with plenty of MATLAB examples. Thank you sir!

Happy to hear it! I also have a full course on the DFT that goes into much more detail and with more MATLAB and Python code: www.udemy.com/fourier-transform-mxc/?couponCode=MXC-FOURIER10

Sir can we calculate the time series from power distribution without any phase information ?

    • @mikexcohen1

You could calculate "a" time series, but not "the" time series. That is, any time series from a power distribution while ignoring the phases would not be unique. The time series could look very different, because the phases encode the temporal dynamics!

    pronounce Euler correctly😀 (Oylr)

Ha, yeah, these are reeeeeaaallly old videos. I'm kindof embarrassed by the low audio-visual quality and crappy editing, but, well, they're still here. My newer videos are better quality, and I pronounce Euler's name correctly :P

@@mikexcohen1 I found these quite useful, although I did a lot of skipping, since I was looking for specific stuff. I found it. I also saw your explanation of the pronunciation in the next video ... fair enough. Criticizing is easy. You should be proud of these videos and the effort you put in. Thank you for the good explanations.
