At least author should have mentioned the recipe ingredients properly. I had added 250 gms of butter into the cake and still waiting for it to cook. I think so it is 100 gms.

I did this cake . I made butter n sugar to make cream. Then directly added egg, one by one. Beated . Then added vanilla essence. Then added milk . Finally added the flour n baking powder mix. Then did the mixing by cut n fold method. It came out excellent.

The recipe has some issues. That butter and sugar do not look like 250 grams each. It may be the case that you have taken lesser amounts - but then the number of eggs are still 4.
    Why provide an inaccurate estimate?

Mam Anupama. Well explained the routes. No one tells like this and never comes out. Picture shows something and final product comes something else. I will try.
1 doubt. In place of butter can we use coconut oil and in place of maida can we use wheat flour, which are good for health. Please reply.
I did many circus, end result sucks. But I will tray as suggested by you. Please reply my doubts. From your explanation I capture maida, sugar, butter weight is more or less same. I think guys explains in volume which is not true. Please correct me if I am wrong. Take care. God bless you and your family and friends. Please reply.

Hello ma'am, I'm a beginner too! It was very surprising for me that you didn't used baking powder & soda, still got a very well raised cake!! Small query : any tips to avoid getting cracks on top?
