The advantage of being an archipelago like tbe Philippines is that not all islands are as overcrowded and touristy. There are places so isolated that you almost have the whole island for yourself. Lots of islands in the Philippines are still relatively underdeveloped and hence, peaceful and quiet.
@@GBOY998 a British vlogger made a fantastic vlog about Tablas Island before the pandemic and it was one of the best about the place. Yet many tourist still prefer the fancier Boracay.
Most vloggers are making videos on common touristy island like bali, pattaya, siargao, siquihor, and so on. Congrats with high five, you guys have found your own out of the beaten path paradise and now no one has ever done it, you two have become the official and original vloggers of tablas island. As a Filipino, I find it sad that so many of the nation's islands aren't even visited by foreign tourists because they usually only visit the well-known and popular ones. They don't try to explore the other islands in the nation, which are equally having difficulty luring tourists. And the attractions on these uncharted islands are superior to those on the popular ones. I'll give you an example: There are several islands in the Philippines that are reachable by boat or ship, including Samar, Leyte, Masbate, and Panay. Samar has pink beaches, pristine beaches, a sizable cave, and sizable waterfalls. Leyte is the same way. When it comes to infrastructure, these large islands have at least one facility that can serve both domestic and foreign tourists.

I am planning to take a holidays this coming June and i will enjoy once again the beauty of my hometown. I do appreciate do that people discover the island but I hope that it will not ruin and will be over crowded. I do love to maintain the pristine and the serenity of it.

Romblon is a hidden gem.We went to Sibuyan island ,at Cresta de Gallo and was so amazed at its beautiful and pristine waters.Very few tourists which made it a hidden gem.

The first and only time I was in Tablas was when my grandmother died 12 years ago. The road back then was barely paved and it was so dusty but now the place is so beautiful.

You guys are pretty smart to seek a less touristy area so you could enjoy yourselves better. The bad thing about places that are too popular is it gets really crowded and locals that would pester you with whatever they're selling, merchandise, or services. Since I was born there and though I've been away for so so long, whenever I'm back to visit, I was never inclined to go find some heavy tourist areas. I would rather go to where my parents came from which is Batanes (The northernmost part of the Philippines) where I could visit relatives and relax... maybe next time, I would consider going to that island. Finally some foreigners found Romblon, there are other beautiful islands not known for foreigners like in Northern Luzon. They are only stuck in Boracay, El Nido, Coron and Siargao.
Wow, you’ve been to our island. Not a lot of foreigners go there so it is not so touristy.. You might as well go to Romblon, Romblon. I recommend for you to go to BonBon beach and other resorts there. Not so touristy where you can enjoy and relax. One of the resorts there that I have been is the talipasak beach resort. Or you can go to sibuyan Island and go to Cantingas river, Cresta de Gallo or hike in mount guiting guiting.. If you are still in tablas, perhaps you might wanna visit tinagong dagat, Lapus lapus beach resort. Stay safe and Godbless!!
In metro Manila is crowded of people with lots of mall, but when you go to visayas and Mindanao island you will discover like you said tablas island which is not known to other tourist people but as you can see it was a virgin island which nobody reaches for enjoying the clear water of their beaches..Anyway enjoy and keep Safe..

Good thing you went to romblon, i dont know why people dont go there when they visit boracay. Dont miss bonbon beach in romblon. I recommend Siquijor island is like mini siargao very beautiful ❤
Our country has more than 7,000 islands wherein 2,000 are only known to be inhabited. So, there are more secrets there to explore. Boracay, Palawan and sad to say, even Siargao is now over exploited. Kudos to you for finding one hidden gem in our country. Hope you would discover more.

We have so many unexplored islands but difficult to reach because of poor infrastracture or there is no access to it

there is one great island in san jose romblon which is called Carabao Island. It is also a white beach and comparable to boracay

Samal Island is worth visiting. Beautiful resort not so tourisy. Puerto Galera, in Oriental Mindoro is also worth visiting.
