I felt the same way about my ex a time or 2 when it comes to prayer. But regardless as to what he's done or still doing i realized i must put my feelings aside. I was like let me pray for you because whatever foolala you got going on over there may at some point impact my child. He's still my child's parent.
Your story is very similar to every other woman in my family. They’re the best wives ever, they do all the heavy lifting and work in the marriage and the husband does the bare minimum and then at some points leaves and the wife gets a pay on the back. Then they look at my crazy when I say I never want to get married, have kids or move anyone in my house. Stress is the #1 killer, I don’t want anybody stressing me.
At least the dad sees his kids. The guy who says he is my daughter’s father won’t talk to her. For her 16th birthday text her happy birthday didn’t even try to spend the day with her.

I learned a LONG time ago as long as thr kids are safe and not being mistreated I'm not saying NOTHING. I don't have to the kids see how poor of or good a parent is. Even if one parent is only ever the fun parent and th kids love it as kids when they become adults they will have that conversation with u about how they appreciate the fact you were a real parent. I've had those conversations with my mother I have zero bad memories of my interactions with my father because they were far and few between and they were only ever "fun" I can't tell u anything useful he taught me. He did teach me to have trust issues so.... at this point ur kids are so big we don't need to do anything but text about flight schedules

Your story is very similar to every other woman in my family. They’re the best wives ever, they do all the heavy lifting and work in the marriage and the husband does the bare minimum and then at some points leaves and the wife gets a pay on the back. Then they look at my crazy when I say I never want to get married, have kids or move anyone in my house. Stress is the #1 killer, I don’t want anybody stressing me.
At least the dad sees his kids. The guy who says he is my daughter’s father won’t talk to her. For her 16th birthday text her happy birthday didn’t even try to spend the day with her.
That’s horrible friend. I do take the good with that bad.. learning to just not stress about it.

I learned a LONG time ago as long as thr kids are safe and not being mistreated I'm not saying NOTHING. I don't have to the kids see how poor of or good a parent is. Even if one parent is only ever the fun parent and th kids love it as kids when they become adults they will have that conversation with u about how they appreciate the fact you were a real parent. I've had those conversations with my mother I have zero bad memories of my interactions with my father because they were far and few between and they were only ever "fun" I can't tell u anything useful he taught me. He did teach me to have trust issues so.... at this point ur kids are so big we don't need to do anything but text about flight schedules
