“I don’t even know if this is legal” 🤣
Seriously! 😂
That was a 007 job, it was in a dangerous location, , but you got it done.
Great video and excellent job.✌
007 Haha. It was definitely the most dangerous condensing unit location I've ever experienced. Glad I could get that customers unit back up & running. Thank you! Appreciate your support
Interesting subject and well explained. Great video JMT.
Thank you Bogdana! Much appreciated 🙏 Stay tuned for new videos every week🔧⚡️
Nice repair. I’d cut the bars on that railing to do a changeout to avoid stepping out onto that outrigger. So glad my family left that cesspool of humanity for Ga years past. They all were firefighters with crazy stories to tell putting out fires in the City.
High quality stuff man, respect from AZ
Thank you Jorge! Much appreciated🙏 Respect from NYC. Stay tuned for new videos every week 🔧⚡️

Great work I wonder if the evap coil is dirty or metering device is restricted
What makes you say that exactly? Evaporator coil is a bit dirty👍
Suction pressure seemed a little low. Usually it’s above 60 psi ( 32 saturated ). But I’m a refrigeration guy these days so I’m just going off back in the day trouble shooting.
@@XISorryExpertIX It was SLIGHTLY low so I hear you with that. It's a miracle this unit even started considering it doesn't have pressure controls and being it was out of refrigerant, it could've been running with no pressure. The metering device was a piston. Maybe it could have some sort of restriction. Just glad it works and hope it lasts a bit because that condensing unit seems too risky to replace. That's 8 floors up. Guess we will just have to wait until next time because considering the condition of this unit, there will be a next time. Thank you for your input & thanks for watching
Oh don’t get me wrong my friend you did a excellent job mad props for even doing the repairs most people would have walked away. I agree with no pressure controls god only knows how long it was out of gas and what got into the system.
@@XISorryExpertIX I appreciate that 🙏 You're right though I agree with you. As long as it's not icing up & it's running, its a miracle 😂
Your units are always in the most dangerous spots 😂
Haha seriously. This one must be the worst 💯 Thanks for watching!
How much did you charge for the entire work? o you charge for every single
Where’d did you get those tees from for your gauges. I’m trying to build a set up just like yours
I assume that's in NYC somewhere... to replace the condenser you would need a chain fall or a come along lol and rig it from above hahaha no thank you. Good job on that
Great video very detailed 👍🏼
Thank you Luis! Appreciate the support. Stay tuned for new videos every week 🔧⚡️
That some crazy shit, nice repair
It really is & thank you! Makes me think how this unit was even installed there. It's really scary. Stay tuned for new videos every week🔧⚡️
Nice job , keep up the good work
How much did u charge for a job like that since is r22 ?
I don't like to talk about money & prices but it wasn't cheap. I did give the customer a big discount as they are a good customer. Thanks for watching & stay tuned for new videos every week🔧⚡️
Where did you get the tee fittings for your manifold gauge set?
I got them at my local air conditioning/Refrigeration supply. Johnstone supply. You might have one around your way. You could use a swivel tee but these fittings I have come with a gasket which I def recommend. Thanks for watching & stay tuned for new videos every week! 🔧⚡️ I will try to find them online and if so, I'll drop a link below
Really good video.
Thank you Adam! Appreciate the feedback. Thanks for watching & stay tuned for new videos every week🔧⚡️
I'll bet a bird, squirl, or cat's weight linked that line!
Original r 22 that stuff is worth a lot
Oh yeah. Very expensive. All refrigerants are very expensive now. Prices shot up tremendously. Thanks for watching! Stay tuned for new videos every week🔧⚡️
аа что разве р22 у вас еще не запретили?
Sketchy location for the Condenser unit. Please don't call it freon. That is a brand. Call it refrigerant. Sorry a pet peeve of mine. lol.
Definitely a dangerous location. I hear you with the freon situation. I only called it that because that's what people search more often than refrigerant. Trying to get the video seen 😂 Thanks for watching!
The Freon brand of DuPont refrigerants is now SUVA, but will never get that famous😬
It is similar to Hoover or Kleenex too, both someway misused as article’s names.
👍
Thank you! 👍👍👍🔧⚡️
Wow Ny has to do better with safety. They letting them put condenser anywhere
Man that is plugged!
What do you mean exactly by that?
@@JumpermanTech the entire top 10% of the condenser coil - later saw that most of it looked free of debris.
@@smason Yes. It was just the top of it that looked like that 😂 I brushed that down. If it was truly plugged, we would have a very high head pressure. Thanks for watching & stay tuned for new videos every week🔧⚡️
Talk about a horrible location.....thats absolutely ridiculous. Doing the death straddle.
I agree. Really makes you wonder how they even installed this. Extremely dangerous. Never seen such a thing. Thanks for watching & stay tuned for new videos every week🔧⚡️
@@JumpermanTech --- Craigslist Aspen "r22 freon - $600 (Northport) sealed" The are about a dozen ads there for R-22.T
How do you manage to get such 'crappy' jobs? Doubtful anyone else would work on something so dangerous. BTW, did you clean the coil?
somebody installed it so atleast 1 other person would
@@james6794 Indeed! A crane was probably used; where there's will, there's way.
@@manonfire3642 as bad as the install looks i fell like it was two big guys instead of a crane
@@manonfire3642 Just my luck I guess 😂 I'm sure alot of people wouldn't work on this unit. It's extremely dangerous. Usually people would quote a new condensing unit with a leak in the condenser coil but how could this even be replaced safely? It can't. It's just way too dangerous. I brushed down the condenser coil but that's about it
@@james6794 You have a point there haha
Low airflow
Just curious why no nitrogen while brazing?
