For those of you that don’t know, the islands and mountains you see here is røst in lofoten norway where i come from. One of the most beautiful places on earth❤️ game looks amazing
I'm from Sweden. Visited Lofoten for the first time 1.5 years ago, absolutely loved it. Drove there with my family, and my mouth was wide open most of the time I was behind the wheel.

This 4K video makes me even more excited than the 720p version I just saw on social media (and that version got me very excited). April's going to be a long month waiting for this.
Extremely excited for this, I have both of your fishing games and absolutely love immersing myself as a commercial angler, I’m even more excited to be able to share this experience with my S/O
Really exited to see the development of these games! I got Barents Sea due to personal interest and family history with fishing, and i am really exited to play SAS with friends exploring the new features and posibilities this game presents :)
Awesome! This seems to improve on every critical aspect I had on Fishing: North Atlantic: more things to do, more first person, more interactions with the boats, a more interesting map. Thats gonna be good!
@@MiscGamesAS I personally love the look at the technical aspects of maintaining waterways and the various other things to do from the Fishing games. I hope, further on into the development of the game, we can see some really interesting large ships.
@arkashalethal During the EA phase, the ships will gradually increase in their sizes. In addition, new gameplay elements or features will be introduced.
Yes this game will come to consoles after EA phase. Check this page: support.miscgames.com/support/solutions/articles/36000437406-will-it-be-available-on-consoles-?fbclid=IwZXh0bgNhZW0CMTAAAR0Y28b34up0hiMw-MaVSM0Fp0MMVt0H2n50vD2o6JIxm46BnCKjt_kxsf8_aem_AbAfKe-4HHkxOIKprzetVBqOlgHMk2viCuN9YO0yNJqJdYbzokkqmX_GE5O7MT3wtWEuYCdB0NlCx7-1Of7QSd_5
Looks interesting! Hopefully we can get into some larger ships, like ferries, offshore supply ships etc. Side note I'm not sure how I'd feel boarding a vessel named "Flippy" haha! I had been excited for Nautis but was turned off by the pricing model so hopefully this can fill that sim niche.
Our Early Access release will start with the smaller classes of boats. Following real-life procedures, you start with smaller boats and gradually work your way up as you obtain your next boat certificate and thus unlock larger ships. During our EA phase to the final version, there will be three major updates with the next classes of ships, up to the larger ones. Followed by interesting gameplay that has never been featured. The key art of SAS gives a hint about the final ships, for cargo, service and fishing. After the final version we plan to come with more types of ships, new maps, gameplay and features. SAS is our long-term project.
Please add jellyfish fishing. It would be so fun to add another layer to harpooning. for example choosing between tuna or jellyfish and then needing to search or buy tips.
Will this game be more like what fishing barents sea was at the start rather than what it's now. So like will this game be focusing more on simulation aspects
you weren't bullshitting in the "About this game section" " Realistic sailing physics with Nvidia waveworks" it looks absolutely stunning. Alone the wave physics will occupy me for hours. I hope u consider realising it on Geforce now.
There's an OSV in the picture of the game but not a single OSV advertised in the trailer ? Mostly fishing and carrying boxes around. I wish the game would have more big game offshore duties like anchor handling, oil rig towing, wind farm servicing and so on, since all of that stuff does happen a lot in Norway.
Those big boats will be added during our Early Access period. We aim to put in lot more details into every boat, which take a lot of time and this is why we're doing early access.
Damn. Was hoping for bearing sea this time, keep the westward trend going. Still Hyped. Quick question. Are you using nanite for the land? Gives me that nanite feel.
So excited! I am curious, as it is a feature I feel is lacking in many water focused games, will there be storms/waves that actually pose a threat to your vessel? So many games have weather effects in them but very few actually make you have to plan accordingly to avoid damage/sinking altogether. Would be add so much to the realism if you were actually at risk from weather in this game as opposed to it simply being an added effect on the screen.
Hi, thanks for your message! Effects of wind, storms, or other environmental factors on trees and other elements in games can be attributed to a combination of technical challenges, resource consumption, and the complexity involved in simulating realistic natural phenomena. This computational complexity can be resource-intensive, especially in open-world games, with vast environments. We, as developers, must find a balance between visual realism and the performance capabilities of the target hardware.
We are still testing multiplayer on the same ship. Originally we wanted to introduce it at a later stage, but we are thinking about supporting it from the beginning as the feature is already there. We just need some time to make sure it works properly.
Looks cool. I'm buying this. I hope one day someone makes a great underwater exploration game with dsrv and other deep sea subs and surface vessels similar to this. Expansion pack?
WoW congratulations, can't wait to buy it, I was going to buy "Fishing North Atlantic" but I'm waiting for "Ship at Sea " And I hope the price is affordable
We plan to release the game on consoles after our early access period is over. The console version has been taken into account from the first day of development!
Yes, the boat will increase in size during the phase until the final version of SAS. Also after finalizing we will come with even bigger ships and new features. So, SAS is our long-term project from now on. @@Talking_Ben_nr_1
@@MiscGamesAS 👍 To be expected from a new game, I’ll roll with it if it’s playable as I enjoyed North Atlantic and Barents Sea.
