Ha - I'm almost 70 (ugh) and 1973 thru early 1980's was an unbelievable fantastic time for me - so many clubs, so much music, like this, and SO MUCH Dancing!
In 1981: I was still too young for the club scene, but by then, I had already been flipping the radio dial for a few of my formative years by then. I still remember the very first time this dropped on WBLS's Ken "Spider" Webb show, and have loved it since. I'm proud that I was born and raised in NYC during such a progressive time in music. My mom was born at 1969, and of course she adore that 80s era so much. She tellin me how great that era & even show me her pict while doing roller skate with my dad.
