    Your curiosity, and desire to fix things instead of throwing them, showing us how you solve the different issues you encounter, has helped a lot of us. Thank you as always, Kevin.

    I find that those are like the “Buddy Heaters”, a little dust or cobwebs will stop them. A little regular maintenance, and they’ll last forever. Great advice Kevin, I’m glad I’m not the only one who rescues discarded tools. Thanks for the video, be well my friend.

    Thanks for the video, it got me on track. My issue was the orifice that you were using the brush on. I actually removed it and cleaned both top and bottom and now it works great. I was ready to toss it before seeing this video. Thx

    Thanks Kevin for this video. I have one of those on my 1lb propane tank, it is fairly new, but it is good to know that I can clean it if it ever gives me trouble. Juddie - J & J TOA

    hi Kevin, i have lost the tip on my TS 4000 . do you know where to find a replacement tip?
    thank you

    • @Robinson-Homestead
      @Robinson-Homestead  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I can't find them either so you might have to buy a new torch.

    I have a couple of the MAPP gas torches and find, just as you have, that the electrode to pipe wall distance is critical... you can visually test the spark while the brass mixer nozzle is still off.

    Did you leave a link to those "air brushes" or your Amazon page? The links provided seem to be incorrect.
    It's always a great thing to "explore" a little and repair things that might not be failing but just need some cleaning or adjusting. Lots of folks out there find $50 easier to earn and spend than to sit down and do some investigation. It's pretty sad to opt for a new item when all it needs is a cleaning.

    Question for anybody. My propane torch won't light. But I can use a lighter to get the flame going, but once I take the lighter flame away, they torch flame stops. Any advice?

    • @Robinson-Homestead
      @Robinson-Homestead  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Try turning the gas down , if it's too high sometimes it will blow out the flame.

    Mine was still sparking, but wouldn’t ignite, cleaned a bunch of black gunk out of it. Now it won’t spark lol

    • @Robinson-Homestead
      @Robinson-Homestead  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Maybe try moving the ignighter closer to the metal and see if that works.
