I think this is the most unknowingly great ear training video ever lol this is the part that's missing from every ear training video on youtube even the really popular ones. Explain what the chords are supposed to sound like and their role, being able to hear them in songs comes later through lots of practice.
Thank you. Lost you towards the end. 😊. Nevertheless : 2,5,1 and 4,7,1 was a takeaway here. 2 and 4 creating movement and 5,7 'screaming' for resolution. You are a great tutor but I somehow felt this could have been broken down into at least 2 separate lessons, just like a sequel so to speak. You shared so many nuggets of gold, or is it my ageing brain?? Profoundly grateful for every post of yours. Warm regards
Interesting, very much understand the circle of fourths and fitha but what determines if that passing chord is major minor? Since it would be outside of the key

I felt attack when you said, noodling on the pentatonic scale and learning how to solo it for the first time.. because that’s where I’m at right now

If I’m approaching a major chord, I will only use major passing chords
If I’m approaching a minor chord I’ll only use minor passing chords
