Laytime concepts are well explained. Is that the cargo weight taken as 82,594 MT is fixed.? If so why? This is the question of the day.
Thanks for your kind words mate. Yes, the vessel is fixed for the voyage. Laytime is calculated once the whole voyage is fixed and executed. Check out the lecture 2 inorder to get your doubts clarified. Cheers th-cam.com/video/NoWQhuQ-bBg/w-d-xo.html

Hello is this format also applicable to the port agency laytime concept or only for dry cargo ?
I am curious how Laytime should be calculated if NOR tendered outside office hours? Clause says only about office hours.
Can u make a video regarding the terms of F.h.ex. EIU. And F.H.EX.UU office hour ….
Thanks for your suggestion, we will look into it.
Hi There,
On Tuesday, The factor Rain from 3.30 to 8 was not considered. The halt of 1 hour ie from 7 to 8 is not considered. Any reason to it?
Thanks in advance.
Please check the dates in SOF as Sunday is 22nd Feb and Monday seems to be 21st whereas it has to be 23rd if I am not wrong.
Thanks for the Remark Amit, will put an additional note in the remark section. Cheers

Why did you make the remark "The revised dispatch time is 15hrs 2 min = 0.6583333 Day"? How did you get it? It seems wrong to me. It's actually 0.626388889 days! Than we will have dispatch 5402, as initially in the video. Please correct me somebody if i am wrong.
I would like to buy a small size oil tanker within the next three yrs . Could help me fins a ship .
I know its basic mathematics but i divided 82.594.37 by 30.000 and i got 2,7531456 ... what is this number exactly and how did u get 2 days 18 hours and 5 minites ?
ok so i got the answer below nut u used 82594 not the whole cargo .. which 82594.37 as per ur video ..why arent we adding that too ?
When you divide 82594 by 30000 you get 2.753133 days. In order to convert it to Hours and minutes, you need to multiply 0.753133 with 24 hrs, giving you 18.0752 hrs. And finally, to get the minutes, you need to multiply 0.0752 with 60, which gives 4.512 minutes rounded off to 5 minutes. That how we arrive at 2 days 18 hours and 5 minutes.
My dear friend, those numbers are wrong, in any calculation the laytime is more than 36 hours, so for the exercise the data are wrong
What kind of calculater do you use? On the calculator i have 82,594 divided by 30,000 equals 2,753.133.
What kind of calculater do you use to get an answer 2 days 18hours and 5 minutes?? This is not very well explained

@@ShipScope i am grateful for the explanation
Please give me brief for despatch amount- 5402.
The dispatch time is 15hrs 2 min = 0.62638 Day. When you multiply 0.62638*8625 = 5402
@@ShipScope sorry didnt get 0.62638 ? please show the calculation
@@priyankakamble4335 (12:58) *The revised dispatch time is 15hrs 2 min = 0.6583333 Day. When you multiply 0.6583333*8625 the revised dispatch you get is $5,678.125.*
I believe its WWD ,so everything should be calculated as on pro rata basis
You have to check the details given in every question and apply accordingly.
Thanks for the video its very good. Can I get your email. I have a numerical which is a little complex for me .Its a laytime calculation problem.
Thank you.
