    Can you explain pwwd. Per weather working day. Is this the particular ports working day. So if a ports wwd is 10 hours , this then counts as 1 wwd?
    But if another ports working day is 12 hours , then this is the working day weather permitting?
    Sometimes the agreed time is say 96 hours? Is this when the port unload or loads 24/7?

    • @ShipScope
      @ShipScope  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Weather working day is means a working day or pan of a working day during which it is possible (if the vessel is loading or discharging) or would be possible (if the vessel is not loading or discharging) to load or discharge the cargo without interference due to the weather. If such interference occurs or would have occurred if cargo operations had been in progress, there shall be excluded from the laytime a period calculated by reference to the ratio between the duration of the interference and the time, which would have or could have been worked if the interference had not occurred. See the next video in which I have tried solving the example which will strengthen your understanding of the topic.
