For me, Daryl Hall and John Oates are the best of all times! I like a lot of music, but I love Hall and Oates the most of all. It has begun when I was 8 years old in 1976! Now I'm 55 years old and I still love the music of these guys the most! What a great concert! No one can do better! Thank you for all the wonderful music! Awesome!

They have fun and their audience reflects that joy. As a team, that group of talented artists has No rivals. I love and respect each one of them... (And mourn the loss of T-Bone Tom Wolk along with them.). May they continue as long as they are happy... I wound enjoy seeing them Live one more time. 💋

Thank you so much for posting this. My goodness. So you got the best singer(s), great songs, great band, acoustic honesty, the big (Hammond) Organ, and amazing T-Bone showing his skills. Some of that Philadelphia soul and pop music sounds like Gospel music to me . . . all in front of a live Japanese audience. If that ain't "Iconic" I don't know what is.
I've watched a lot of their performances through the years and it is exactly in 1990 where Daryl started to sound like what he sounds now in 2021. He also stopped moving on stage which is a complete turnaround from his stage antics in the 80s. I think 1985 is their prime year. Still, one of my favorite bands along with Toto. Thanks Vice City!
I would almost agree, but watch the 2003 ( I think) concert with Me & Mrs Jones and the Our Kind of Soul shows PRE Lyme and he was moving pretty well. The Lyme took his hips and stamina.

Daryl is my fine wine...December 1976 Daryl's silky voice had me @ the get go. Nothing like live music. The Palladium. Met him in green room never again was I the same.........
I think, Daryl got his groove in music in the early 70s. That's when I came into my own...1970-79-80s...when our music was TOP #1. Daryls rithym with the blues, are reminiscent to my Years growing up, through teens, 20s, 30s+
I first saw T-Bone on Daryls place, and immediately went to see all the videos possible, and only after months of watching those did I learn T-Bone has passed ten years prior. I didn’t know what to think. But I agree with you 100%! T-Bone and Charley DeChant are the H&O sound, of course w/John and Daryl.
What a great idea to have the original sax solo for Maneater, which was done with a 4-beat delay to create the echo, done here as a "duel" between Charlie's sax, playing the main part, and the violin of Eileen Ivers, playing the "echo". I saw them do that on this tour in the summer of 1991, Raleigh NC and was really impressed. The whole show was, really.
I saw them just a few days before or after you in Florida and had the same exact experience. When they used the violin as the echo I damn near fell outta my seat, except of course we were already standing lol

Great post , I think the 82 - 83 Rock & Soul tour was the best . All the big hits plus most of the H2O Lp. Still , way too short of a show as I like every song from every album, some more than others , but if I had my way they'd be singing all day , LoL .
Seems that the tour each of us saw them on was the “best” tour they did. I saw them in 1979, and at this point remember only a few songs they played. They were great to be sure. I was more blown away as I was able to get to the stage and with my elbows resting on the stage 7 feet from Daryl, I shot the best rock & roll show photos ever taken. Fourth two years later they exist only in my mind, and for that I’m both sad and glad. Sad the pics are gone, glad I still have a mind with memories.
Yeah that’s one thing I hate about today’s tours. It’s mostly just the G/H over and over again. I realize they only have a couple hours but it would be nice to hear more album tracks from the 80’s performed live.
