Yes you can but i would recommend to only use the gen 4 slots.
Because he forgot to mention the biggest downside is by using the ssd gen 5 slot will steal up to 8 lanes from the pcie 5.0 slot and slow down your gpu.

I also couldn't put my Gpu in the motherboard without removing the big thermal block for gen5 ssd slot.
