IMO for $1800 you should have a better GPU. You pay for a lot of RGB and cool looks with this build. You should be able to get a RTX 4070 in a good build for around $1200 - 1400.

The 6750 and 7600/7700 cards might fit better into the first category than the 4060, more VRAM for future proofing.

Great build. I'd definitely go for Msi Mag B550 Tomahawk but still smart choices. Only 🤡 would go for AM5 especially when all they do is gaming. I got a 7900 xtx with this build had a great black friday deal the whole setup came close to $900 USD after taxes and everything with 64 gigs of ram. I can work on Unreal Engine 5.5 and Blender rendering lighting together while streaming. If I, a kernel programmer, a game designer, a 3d artist, and a gamer can go above and beyond with this until easily 2035, why can't you gamers do that lmfao 😂 You think you need nVidia but you don't. You think you need rasterized performance (where amd usually is better anyway) but you don't, if it's not an online game pay $3 USD and download a LSFG upscale from 2k to 4k and x2/3/4 frame gen on ultra max settings this will last you 10 years. Ryzen 7 5700x is very fast no doubt but it gets extremely hot while playing games like call of duty warzone, DMZ and temperature goes to 95-96C while GPU which i have remains normal and is on temperatures like 60-65 C

I ordered this board because the Gigabyte b650m AORUS Elite AX I got will not give me any display and has a solid DRAM light on. I've swapped RAM brands and configurations, updated the BIOS, made sure all was connected right, but still no display. If I could get it to work, I wonder if it would be better than this MSI or not?

Being able to attach case fans to it is a huge thing. it'll let the bottom half of the case run automatically to cool the card like the top half does to cool the CPU. I just don't know how many fans you can hook up to it though. I'm emailing Sapphire and waiting on their answer. Only thing irritating me was the first few emails they thought I was trying to replace the stock cooler and told me it will void my warranty. took 3 emails for them to figure out i want to know the specs for the fan out header on it. It's the weekend now so waiting for Monday for them to get back to me. They have been quick to respond to my questions though. a day or less for each reply. If I get an answer I'll post what I find out about the fan header. I've been wanting a fan out header for case fans for 20 years. All gpus should come with that by now.

Got this model for $740 1 month ago. Had a 3060 Ti before. I don't want to compare the 2, just want to say that I'm glad I bought the 7900 XT. Hopefully later this year I'll be able to upgrade to AM5, as I'm currently running a 5600X.

No need to dual tower cooler it can cover only single 15-25$ cooler enoughly I am using 57X3D with Thermalright Assassin X 120 Refined SE it;s usally only 40-60c and I am using ASUS a320m-c r2.0 mother board but it's enough quitetly

I recently changed my ryzen 7 5800x for the 5700x3d since I was getting CPU bottlenecks in 1440p in combination with the RX6900XT. It is a great improvement, and the CPU runs much cooler, which is a nice bonus
