Gran video y gracias por subtitulado en Español, un saludo des de Barcelona, has realizado un video con tres tipos de ciclistas y bicicleta intercambiando entre vosotros, realmente es muy bueno FELICIDADES
Great video Sam, thats what mtb is all about, 3 different guys ,3 big smiles ,and having a great day out, the electric mountain bike scene has bought so much fun back to everyone of all experience.
Well done, Thank You Sam, great choice of rider mix. We have all three bikes in our family to switch around with. All great bikes. The best one... is the one I'm riding any single day day. Thanks again!
Hello Sam, thanks for sharing this informative video on the “king of the hill” Specialized. I am so stoked that I am transitioning from my manual Yeti Wo an S Works E bike build. Blue skies brother.
Hey Sam, your video couldn’t have come at a more perfect time, I’ve been a huge fan of the kenevo for sometime. Lucky for me I just received my confirmation from Specialized last Friday that my Kenevo models is in and ready for me to pickup on Tuesday 😃, that blew my mind I and going to own a Kenevo, Yahooooo! BTW, I had the same vision you mentioned, go mullet! last night i ordered my new suspension 29” Rockshox Zeb ultimate 180 in the front and out back Rockshox Super Deluxe Ultimate progressive Coil. Keep up the training on Strava! Your killing it!
I'm an old guy maybe older than Nick. I have a Merida E160 with an E8000, best thing I ever bought. I ride to work every day, 22km round trip which is getting me exercise. Yes these ebikes are expensive but how much is your health which is your life, worth. You can't take your money when you die. For the price of a cheap used car, I have a great commuter/fun bike. For me, I wouldn't go under the E8000's torque. The E8000 and higher output motors have reserves of torque which are nice to have.
Considering the Levo is a 3 year old design but is still so current is impressive. I wonder if Specialized will put something new on the market this year that can live up to that? Great Sam.
Great vid! You captured the pure and effortless fun that goes with riding an ebike! Not an easy thing to do. I have the SL and had the Kenevo. Love the SL but miss the Kenevo. Is that a new Spesh rhyme? :)
Hey Alex thanks for the kind works... this video took me pretty much the whole week to edit so much to get in the video without it being boring. I really appreciate your support.
Great video Sam and lovely to see peeps with differing experience and skills enjoying a day out. I’m with you, get a base bike you like and tune it to your needs. A Levo mullet would be a great go to bike with 170 up front so can handle gnar but also go for longer trail stuff too ...with option to use 29/29 as well as. 29/27. Keep it up fella, the trails are drying out !
Hey Jose thanks for the kind words, The Decoy is a great bike but im not sure i would be waiting on one. Can you get it straight away? if not buy something with the newer motor.
Not sure why my comment got deleted but here we go again. I bought my 2020 Turbo Levo Expert Carbon, in November 2020 with zero MTB experience . Today is July4th and I now have 1000 miles under my tires and I absolutely love it ! ,,,, I blew my motor and my local Bike Shop got me the new updated version for free and it took 12 days and then I blew my rear end and they got me the new updated version along with 2 new carbon wheels for free and it took 12 days , so I'm happy with the brands. The motor made uphill fun and suddenly I became a downhill rider . Now that I have some experience, I feel like I want a 27.5 on the rear and more travel up front . The 2022 comes stock like this so it must be a good idea, I just want to make sure my frame will like the adjustment. I would love some thoughts on this please ? ? ?
@@SamsBikes ha ha i know what ya mean, i am about to mullet the same bike just wondering how you have found it and how much the geo changed...... looking forward to your thoughts
Sounds like your ideal bike is a Levo EVO! As much as I'm not a fan of the brand, I'll be selling my soul and parting with some money if/when it happens
Great video Sam 👍🏽 I was so torn between the 3 bikes when I bought my Levo last may, for me for what the Levo gives me for a whole lot less money than the kenevo was well worth it. I really wanted an SL but unfortunately my knee needs the extra power. Following mates on kenevo and SL the SL is super quick and flicky downhill, and probably the most fun
Very interesting comparison , already seen from another biker/you tuber , and mainly the results are similar: More the rider it’s expert, more he prefer the SL , on the opposite when the rider it’s a beginner he prefer the fatter and powerful bike
Wow, great video, congrats from Spain! Could you please help me with the Kenevos's size? I'm 178 cm, and I'm doubting between S3 and S4 sizes. Thank you and keep entertaining us!!
Sorry for the late reply mate, Can you go sit on both? you could really ride both. I'm 183 I tested a s3 and I liked the size but I would of bought a s4.
Sam, this is really helpful... Incredibly I have been gifted/won a SL and I'm wondering whether to keep it or change it to a Levo.... and I'm still not sure but your video is super interesting.
Great to see comparison and different points of view which leads leads me into nicely into head tube and steam tube angles what’s the ideal for an enduro setup in your opinion. Looking at a moustache game, commencal meta power 29 and mondraker crafty, they all have different angles but all say are enduro which would you say is better
Hey Sam! Could you give me some advice? I’m looking at getting a trail/enduro ebike, 5000 euros is my limit! I can get a Scott genius 920 eride from my local dealer for 4600, or the other option was the yt decoy 29 comp! Would you risk getting the decoy? Or would you go safe and get the Scott because it’s from my dealer and if there’s a problem I can get support! Thanks mate! Love the channel!
Hey mate it really depends on if your a online or bike shop rider.. Check the channel i did a video on it about a year ago. For me the Scott has the bosch motor so I would say the Scott.
Levo SL is the best of both worlds, a little more of a work out for the fitness benefits and lighter weight but if your lagging towards the end of a long ride then its the gentle helping push home
Hi Sam as a beginner is the better bike the levo or the kenevo , i want the full fat ebike experience but also something which is agile on the downhills .
I’m not Sam but I do happen to have all 3 of these bikes. A Kenevo is most definitely not a beginner bike. If you’re looking for agile, the Levo is much more agile. The Kenevo is more point and shoot. It’s not playful. It’s an incredible climber and like a bolt of lightning downhill. It’s not great in the tight stuff and doesn’t change direction easily. It’s very long and slack. However, it ploughs through everything and allows you to take any line. It’s very confidence inspiring but agile it’s not. If you ride hard and go big it’s the best ebike I’ve ever ridden but most people would be happier and more comfortable on a Levo...or a Trek Rail.
I agree with most stuff but the kenevo is for beginners, this bike will make a beginner feel very comfortable and confident straight away I think anyway.
Hey Dean mate I think you should think what you want a DH beast that will make you feel very confident on the down hills or the more a do it all bile which will be less forgiving in the dh tracks but more agile both great bikes!
I’d have to respectfully disagree. The Kenevo would definitely give a beginner a plush ride and feel safe descending but it’s not easy to wheel around at trail speed and it requires some special techniques for turning, especially while climbing. Also, because of the long reach and sheer length, the Kenevo requires the rider to move around a lot on the bike. Rider position is crucial. If you’re a beginner and you’re not positioning yourself properly on the bike and not dropping the seat when you should, you’re going to crash a lot. Unless most of your riding is steep downhill I think a Kenevo would slow a beginner down. I only have experience with the expert version that has the dual crown fork and coil. Maybe the comp version has a different feel.
Good to see you do an in biased comparison like this. I think specialized makes an e bike for everyone and this video showed it. I have a Kenevo and I’m looking to purchase an Eddy Current for the front. What sizes did you run on the Kenevo for the test?
Gran video Sam, enhorabuena. Una curiosidad, me ha parecido que la Levo y la Kenevo tienen cambiados de mano los frenos ¿es así? ¿Alguna razón especial? Un saludo, nos vemos en el Pardo!!
Guys, Nice review. I need an advice related to sizing. I’m 180 cm and my wife 175 cm. We want to share a bike - my wife for a short tours only really. However, we tried S3 and it seemed to be ok although I looked a bit too big for s3. In the shop they recommended S4 with shorter stem. What would you recommend? Thanks a lot, much appreciated
Hello, i would say that i depends on how you want to ride the bike. If you and your wife want a fun poppy bike you should buy the S3. If you want a plower buy the S4. I am 197cm and i have riden the S3 S4 and S5 and i like the S4 the most because it fits my type of riding. If i were you i would buy the S3
Sam, congratulations for this masterpiece. Probably your best video so far.
Thanks German and thanks so much for the Levo for the day!!!
Good except he didn't pick a bike without changing it lol
I just bought the 2021 Specialized Turbo Kenevo Expert literally just a few minutes ago and am super stoked for it to arrive!!!
Great video guys. I love the SL , I am 60 years old. Enough of a work out and assistance ! The full Levo is when I get really old.😊
thanks Phillippe yep the SL is amazing i love it too... so when your 70 you will get a Levo?
Lol, Phillippe, I'm 62 and have a full Levo. I guess I bought the right bike. 👍

Good afternoon Sam, as always fantastic video. I've decided on the decoy elite, my only doubt the engine e8000, what do you think?
Hey Jose thanks for the kind words, The Decoy is a great bike but im not sure i would be waiting on one. Can you get it straight away? if not buy something with the newer motor.
@@SamsBikes Thank you for your advice, I'll wait to see if they update the decoy elite model with the ep8 engine. Thank you for your attention
I have an E8000, a little more torque would be nice. If I got one really cheap , I would buy one, but if you are paying full price get the EP8.
