@@Big.steppa.reese0That's the point. Nick believes in Williams and doesn't believe in Nix. Even when their stats are similar nick defends one and criticizes the other.
If Russ had those numbers, Broncos fans would be calling for his head lol. Don't get me wrong, Nick is a jackass, and he deserves to be mocked for many of his QB takes, but I'm actually with him on Nix. I think Broncos fans have been looking at Nix through rose-colored glasses all-season long. I've watched a handful of his starts, and he could easily have a few more INTs if DBs hadn't dropped some of his passes or his receivers hadn't interfered to save him from one. He's benefited from a very good defense which Russ did not have last year, and his o-line has been better than expected as well. Despite that, he's 0-5 against teams with winning records. And yeah I know he's a rookie, but he's also 24 years old with 61 college starts under his belt, so he's played a lot more football than your typical rookie. Nix is having a decent rookie season after a rough start, but I wouldn't characterize it as anything more than that. The jury is still very much out on him, and will be for awhile. He certainly hasn't confirmed the "Drew Brees Jr." and "Drew Brees 2.0" labels that pundits slapped on him in the pre-season.
@adamrisch First of all, Russ did have stats like this all last season, and people criticize Payton for cutting him. Second, Russ was a 13 year vet getting paid a boatload of money and under performing. Third, the Broncos defense WAS food last year as soon as they cut a bunch of old vets after the Dolphins debacle. The 5 game win streak took some spectacular plays by russ, but I think the turnoverff differential was almost 3 to 1 in that stretch. The defense had to be good to keep the broncos in games. Which brings me to the next point, the o-line. We all thought the o-line sucked last year. But Maek Schlereth was insistent that the majority of the sacks that russ was taking were his fault. After the season, PFF had the broncos o-line graded one of the highest. Now, with most of the same guys, the o-line is one of the best in the league. It turns out, 3 time super bowl champion lineman mark schlereth was right. Russ took a lot of unnecessary sacks. Nix is the guy. It's fair to say that he wouldn't be this good without Payton, but he's doing well in a great situation, on the worst roster that he will have. He's our guy, and it makes no sense for guys like Nick to pretend that he isn't.
I been a Broncos stan since the 80s, but you give Mahomes the benefit of the doubt because he's done it. I really love Nix and after reviewing the all-22, he actually had a better game than the stats would indicate. I think he will be special, but Mahomes is still on his own level.

@strathound I am not a Cowboys fan. I was born in Denver and lived there for the first 15 years of my life. I have been a fan for 51 years. With that said, I would not have put Aikman into the category of guys who I have seen throw the ball as good or better than Bo as a rookie. His rookie season was not good. By comparison, look at what Marino did. The arm talent between a guy like Marino or Daniels vs. Nix is vastly different. That is not throwing shade at Bo. You do not have to have a cannon to be great. Tom Brady never wowed anyone with his arm or legs. I am just making the point that there have been rookies that have thrown the ball as good and even better than Bo. I have honestly become more and more impressed with Bo Nix as the season has gone along and Nix can definitely become a top AFC QB, because he has a good foundation and getting better, he is already one best rookies QB's and I dobt think everyone appreciates how impressive he has been for thr Broncos. I was listening to a press conference he gave and was really impressed with his already mature understanding of the game and ability to read defenses. I will be really be interested to watch his development. I like the kid.
They should have asked Nick in the beginning of the season what exactly does Bo nix need to do for you not to be tricked in to thinking he's a good quarterback
Nick not counting rushing TDS, which is a fundamental part of football, will definitely bite him one of these days. Breaking news: This is a team game. More Breaking News: Bo Nix led his team down the field, and then we handed it off for the score. Without those Nix-led drives, Denver basically has 13 offensive pts, which at first may look bad on Bo Nix, which is obviously the straw man that Nick is trying to pull here, but my point is that Nix contributed just as much to those drives. Although McLaughlin was a workhorse, it's not like he just took the ball every play of that drive or anything. Bo had to convert plays to get us there. On the first drive, he had that laser to Vele at the 1 yard line. On another drive, he had that throw to Franklin, which should have been a TD, but Franklin got tackled just a hair short of the goal-line. When all of you with your QB-first offenses fall flat on your face because you don't have anything else to lean on, I'll be here with my Broncos, being glad that Bo Nix works in the shadows, pushing his team to glory. Thanks for calling Nick out on this, and KEEP EXPOSING THE FRAUD, Julian!
Taking away a player's best play(s) is just idiotic AF lol, much like only including a player's best games/moments like he did with Caleb Williams is also idiotic lmao. That's the inconsistency. Why not just include the full package ? This is just weird fantasy football that Nick Wright is trying to play that I just can't in good faith participate in lmao
35 points without the two pix six’s…. That’s more than the chiefs scored all year…. Good thing that the chiefs play the browns in about two weeks, let’s see what he says about that game
Is it a coincidence that Azeez suspension just happens to coincide with the Chiefs game with Mahomes. Instead of just 1 game. And goes beyond by 1 game to make it appear the NFL is not intentionally removing him for the Mahomes game.
Nick is a Broncos hater. Bo did not have a great game, and he would even admit that. With that being said, he did what needed to be done when it mattered to help his team win the game, and he has been great in his rookie season. Nick will never give him or anyone associated with the Broncos his stamp of approval no matter what they do.
Nick Wright is great! @ 0:17 his colleague Kevin Wildes may be believing in Bo Nix and perhaps he is testing Nick? Teasing Nick? But Nick is standing by his position he made about Bo Nix early in the season. Good for Nick - he is standing (leaning) on his earlier remarks. He made his bed and he's wearing it. If Bo Nix continues to play well, or perhaps even improve(?!), Nick will be forced to eat crow. It may be in a month or it may be in a year but respect Nick's tenuous opinion now and just be patient - then relish in Nick's crow-eating shame to come. IOWs, turn his lack of faith and objective observance of Bo as a positive. Respect that Nick is not snivelling and he's not back-tracking now. He's backing himself up and he's doubling-down on his disbelief in Bo. You go Nick! Gotta show some respect with respect. Right? Patience! We'll look forward to Julian L's YTube post of when Nick does have to eat crow. Good job to Julian for his quote-the-pundits-then-remark style. Love it!
the media hates Denver, its odd to not give respect to a team who clearly deserve it. they spend more time on the browns even though they lost. of course Denver intercepted it. its a top defense, and why does anyone listen to the broadcaster...he's mostly wrong about everything he says (talking a out the first things first guy)
Nick: If you take away his good plays…then he isn’t very good. So there you have it.

This man is the Kendrick Perkins of the nfl
3:11 J. McLaughlin RB. last night 84 rush yards on 14 att , 6.0 Avg
isn't bad at all
Bo Nix will eventually be in the hof and Nick Wrong will still say im not convinced
this is getting COMICAL....
35 points without the two pix six’s…. That’s more than the chiefs scored all year
Most junior high football coaches no more about football than Wright.
The broncos is awesome I love it
They should have asked Nick in the beginning of the season what exactly does Bo nix need to do for you not to be tricked in to thinking he's a good quarterback
This is one where all you could do is just laugh. This is what Nick does and this is what gets people to continue to keep watching
Nick Wright cares about stats. He looks at the box score and does commentary. He is a total clown.
Someone should tell Nick that Bo Nix outplayed his boy Mahomes too...
I’m 💯 positive I despise Nick more than the Raiders and that’s saying something
To be fair, he throws more than all the other rookies. I still have Daniels as rookie of the year.
Good video bro
I don’t disagree w Nick I’m not sold. I don’t think that is unfair
Never forget that this is the same nick that took the Chicago bears to win the Super Bowl.
Buck and Troy Aikman are professionals and previous players, Nick's a paid actor at this point. If anyone is laughable it's Nick Weight.
His schtick is to piss off Denver fans. I know it and he still makes my blood boil
35 points without the two pix six’s…. That’s more than the chiefs scored all year…. Good thing that the chiefs play the browns in about two weeks, let’s see what he says about that game
Actually starting to hate this guy. Wish these shows were driven by stats instead of Nicks’ drama
8 win team with RW, compared to a 8 win+ with a rookie QB? Make it make sense. His bias takes are driving me nuts and that’s probably the point
No run game ? Mclaughlin averaged 7 yards a carry and played really well
Go look at the other games buddy
But he didn't get going til the 2rd
3rd
That was really just one drive
The running game had a strong drive right after the browns started reeling from the passing attack which isn’t coincidence
Is it a coincidence that Azeez suspension just happens to coincide with the Chiefs game with Mahomes.
Instead of just 1 game.
And goes beyond by 1 game to make it appear the NFL is not intentionally removing him for the Mahomes game.
That's the "NFL train" Payton always talks about🤦♂️
Nick Wrong 😑 😢 needs to be replace😢
Guy acting like Reid didn’t help Mahomes
Well if Nick Wrong said it...
Bo Nix is very good just by the eye test. Not sure what Nick is looking for.
Nick hates him because he’s in division of KC lol. I mean this is crazy. Nic is playing very good football just give him his flowers man.
I think some of these guys just talk out their azz for clicks. Has to be the case
Love it!
The no run game take is false. They had 107 yards rushing. Which is not great but it's effective enough
the media hates Denver, its odd to not give respect to a team who clearly deserve it. they spend more time on the browns even though they lost. of course Denver intercepted it. its a top defense, and why does anyone listen to the broadcaster...he's mostly wrong about everything he says (talking a out the first things first guy)
Nick wright is crashing out to hate on Bo nix
Nick wants Bo to throw 7 TDs no Ints to give him followers
Fact nick
