    Just my opinion but i think yoshitaka amano's art is the embodiment of final fantasy itself..i think thats the reason why they still want yoshitaka amano doing the logo design for every new game

    Speaking strictly about Cloud Strifes appearance and personality, I don’t know if this this is intentional or not but I feel like Cloud shares traits of Zack and Sephiroth. Like his hair feels like it’s an amalgamation of both there hair styles. And it kind of makes sense as to why that is since the Jenova cells have the ability to mimic itself to whatever it desires and I guess in Cloud, to lesser degree, the hairstyle and attitude of Zack and Sephiroth combined

    Just wanted to take the time to say that this channel is a diamond in the rough for a gamer and aspiring artist like me. Your videos are always interesting to watch and I appreciate the subtitles. Even as someone who is somewhat unfamiliar with Final Fantasy, this was a very fascinating video filled with amazing art. It is a joy to be able to find out more about these talented artists, and I'm glad to have stumbled upon your channel a couple of weeks ago. Keep up the great work!

      Thanks Blade! Really appreciate the comment because that's exactly the goal of this channel; to create a library of many artist which can inspire our own art. And it really helps, some of the artist I cover are request (artist I am not familiar with) and I always learn something new just by checking them out.

      Ikr! Although this vid is quite long, I still had to condense a lot of the art to not be overloading with illustrations. (There soo much scenery and monster art on the games).

      Yeah, the FF franchise is so wide and art based that it's hard to put everything in a single video.. but you did a good job in showcasing most of it ..

      Same here ! where did your final fantasy journey begin ?

    • @Poltergeist88
      @Poltergeist88 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It started with FF 8.. I was thirteen or so and a friend lend me a copy for the PS1.. I replayed the game untill the CDs were so worn that the consolle become unable to load certain parts 😁 then FF 9 which at the time wasn't a favourite because of the chibi look, but then I fell in love with it during the years... Then FF 7 with a mod for the translation in my language, because at the time the game was available only in English in my country and for me at fourteen it was an alien language.. and then the ps2 came and with it FF 10, which I played like thirty or forty times.. I literally learn by memory all the dialogues of the game.. and then I got back on FF 6 which is probably my favourite of them.. and with FF12 I played the last FF.. I bought FF 13 but I was so disappointed that after a couple of hours I re-sold the game to the shop.. I gave a last chance to FF 15 but ended up like ff13.. honestly I think that going forward I'm going to live with the nostalgia and stop.. now i like to develop my games instead of playing new FFs that I don't feel like they're worth my time 😁
