If Justin Currie and C.M. Kosermen teamed up and created an all tomorrows graffic novel series I think it would be a hit. Even if it was something complely unique it would still get a lot of traction.
I agree completely about the Gravital. Even before it was pointed out, I could see a feeling of fear coming from it. Justin Currie truly does have an incredible talent to give emotion to not only a heartless and near soulless machine, but to a literally expressionless orb.
It's a lot to do with the colors, if you'll notice, that mournful blue and purple scheme as the snake people know that this is not a fight they can win without great sacrifice, and sadly not even then. The Gravital's red is aggression, but as its core is exposed, it begins to become blue at its seams. Its once powerful red eye sinking into the blue of fear as it can't get clear of these strange snake humans holding it down and crushing its body. Truly amazing use of color and emotional pull.

I'm so happy that the Blind Folk and Snake People were made so soon. They're two of my favourite species and seeing them in amazing art like this is just fantastic

The reason the Gravital, I think, looks fearful is the use of red against the the otherwise blue color. They contrast together, and since red is used a lot less than the blue, it feels like the blue is swarming the red, overtaking it. It also appears to be staring upwards, giving it this feel like it is trying to flee, hoping maybe to reach back into the Heavens.
Oh this ones my favorite so far! Its style is almost like a mix of tech and tribal! And the idea of snake people having battle armor is sick! It’s such a lively image! Actually reminds me of the Godzilla vs king ghidorah poster

I’ve always been so angry that everybody seems to think that the gravital were just human sized orbs of metal in the book when is compared to a tree and needless to say the gravital are fucking huge like skyscraper level of huge
There are probably different models for different jobs some could be small others could be as large as ships. I think Second Generation Gravitals could be more diverse in sizes since they are no longer 'brains in a jar' and have become pure machines.

I thought humanity discovered and made first contact with the amphicephali during the third galactic empire after the defeat of the gravitals. They made it to Nemo ramjets time after humanity had become extinct completely asteromorphs included?
Sorry but that tactic literally makes no sense. If the Snake people were indeed space faring. Why would you detonate Gravital's within your own unevacuated cities? That is at best nonsensical. They could meet the Gravital ships in space and detonate the ships. Have them use this weapon to destroy the Dysan side sails they are using to block out the systems star. if this technology is so terrifying which honestly doesn't appear to be as great as they thought it was. They pretty much did most of the job for the Gravitals Sorry but that is really absurd. Why weren't their scientists trying to keep pace with the Gravital ability to adapt and upgrade? The star people had the ability to destroy stars. These new weapons had to be on par with that technology or millions of years more advanced based on the timeline All Tomorrows follows. If they had to get that close to be able to use the weapon which required a lot of Suicides to use once they were adapting. Why couldn't they send data back to adapt the weapons? This is an alternate timeline after all. So why isn't it possible that more than a couple of the POST HUMAN races have resisted? Why not in this version of history. The Gravital's got their cheeks clapped? If you are going to rewrite history then rewrite it to something that shows a vastly different formula than just allowing a couple more races to survive just to die to the same beings wiping everyone out. Let the Bug Facer's co-op the technology from the race they fought and have the Gravtial's on the run to the point they decide to leave them alone in this timeline. Now you have done something different.
