The hell with that, it’s regular Russian people doing the killing of civilians, women and children just to the south… Not one member of government is there… perhaps it’s only a few hundred thousand or a few million that are barbaric animals… they’re dying so fast on their neighbors dirt we may never know, I don’t think anyone is stopping to ask… No I’m sorry I think the deep hatred will endure long into the future… Peace is there choice, they choose to kill… If you choose to speak to them let them know we are going to everything we can to kill them if they enter Ukraine, real good chance they aren’t going home…

This is certainly not the “middle class” in Russia. Regular Russians (even those with decent salaries) live in large Soviet or post-Soviet apartment buildings in 2-3 room apartments. Living in a private house is still very uncommon in Russia. Living in a gated community automatically places one in the upper echelons of society, and while this particular community does not represent Russia’s economic and business “elite”, these are, nevertheless, well-to-do people. Also, this particular neighborhood has a unique design that is meant to appear like a North American suburb. The architecture, the facades, the lack of high fences - all is very unusual for Russia. Most private house residential neighborhoods in Russia look very different - high fences and large brick houses, whose architecture is very different from the styles, commonly seen in North America.

    • @INSIDERUSSIA

Things are a bit different now. I’d say this is upper middle class community

Land is very affordable. Lower income people just use it to grow food primarily and have it farther away, like 40+km of a smaller town.

      @robineggbluebu4371 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

I'm getting the impression that Middle and Upper class in Russia is not the same as in the US? Most Middle and Upper class in the US would live in detached housing with a yard or lawn if they lived in the suburbs. This reminds me more of European housing. Or apartments in the US. Maybe in or near the inner cities the lower to middle class would live in this type of housing, but not typically in the suburbs. And the houses would be a bit larger. It would be interesting to share a video of the Upper Middle class gated communities in my area. The houses are typically 2,000 square feet or more. But we are a far cry from any large city. Here's an example of an Upper Middle Class community near the largest city in my area. If you search "Bridgefield Estates" in this city, you can see more examples. www.realtor.com/realestateandhomes-detail/36-Bridgefield-Turn_Hattiesburg_MS_39402_M80038-03228

@@robineggbluebu4371 cities are heavily urbanized. Both due to near-infinity land prices and a strict land usage regulation within a city borders. If you want to have a modern private house and some space around it is either suburbs or a rural settlement. Rural settlements usually mean lower wages within a reasonable daily road trip time. Suburban land is pricey. As for definition of the middle class in Russia there is no consensus on it. Some would say it doesn't even exist. Hope it shines some light.

Very enjoyable video Konstantin, I confess I LOVE the snow both laying and falling, I could look out the window at it for hours or go walk in it and enjoy the quiet chill of an evening. I don't need sun to be happy, I'm well suited for Russian weather but live in Florida, US! It wasn't my choice and after 7 years here, I'm still trying to adjust. I loved the house tour too...perfect size, perfect everything, very comparable to gated homes I've seen here. The kitchen was my favorite, well laid-out, cozy, and welcoming.

May you and your family continue to be blessed, have God’s protection in all that you do 🙏
It is really nice to get educated and to understand and feel what an ordinary or civilian Russians life and the place they live.
Please continue to do what you do bec your TH-cam is making Non Russian people all over the world to understand ordinary people in Russia.
What is happening in the current conflict is not ordinary Russian and Ukrainian peoples fault but only of those who decided to make the conflict worst that have costs many lives , death and displaced people in both countries Russia more so of Ukrainian people 😔
We all feel your (Russian & Ukrainian’s) pain with what is happening… our heart bleeds and cry with you all while watching what is happening. We are supposed to just enjoy living our life freely. Life is God given gift to us. No human being shld live a life surrounded with fears.
Praying for all of your people : both countries of Russia and Urkraine🙏. Our time on earth is not forever that is why we shld just choose to love and just enjoy life with our family and friends and to freely meet new friends all over the world too and avoid conflict so we can continue to live a life with harmony ❤️
I just found your TH-cam last night and it truly touched to hear you, as you struggle to find the right words to say, bec of the fear you’re feeling.
But you are a good person who only try to educate and share the life of Russian. What you’re doing is the only connection you get to have so people outside Russia will also understand the lives of Russian. Even many Ukrainians doesn’t hate your people and have been making the world understand that you are one brothers and sisters. Take good care always 🙏

I've noticed one huge difference between USA kitchen sinks and Russian kitchen sinks. Kitchen sinks in the USA are HUGE compared to Russian kitchen sinks. The size of the kitchen sink in Russia is about the size of my bathroom sinks. The houses are pretty. The prices are crazy low for those nice houses. In most US cities a $140,000 house is considered a working class "Starter Home" for people who need room for their family. I live in a nice sized condo in a luxury area and an old beat up fixer upper condo will cost you $210K. A townhouse in my area will cost you $500,000.00. Wow in Russia I would be considered well to do. In the USA I am barely average now.

You must make sure that your wonderful country continues being the fruitful, beautiful and great country it is... Because of one person's choices the entire world is seeing your beautiful land as a threat.... You know what to do. There are more of you than there is of these destructive people in power. Normandy would still be German if thousands of people didn't swarm it and gave their lives so a despot would not ruin Europe and the world.... The world is hoping Russians will solve Russia's problem. We look to you! This is YOUR HOUR. You know what you must do and the costly price it is. I grieve for this position he has put you in..... Don't wait too long. Hopefully Your grandchildren and ours will sing your praises for your bravery and the terrible sacrifice of the many required. Our prayers are with you.

Such a great idea to show an actual housing suburb where you bought your parents this townhouse. I spent 6 years in and out of Russia teaching healthcare professionals in six cities. Only one MD lived in a house and her husband worked for BP oil. She got a new kitchen when I stayed there because no American had ever visited this town. Her home was like a log cabin. All the other mods lived in unregulated soviet style apartments. I think there would be a lot of interest in seeing hospitals and schools where I taught. I miss my tremendous friends and being with them. Please do many more of these videos.

Very interesting. I love to see how average people live in other parts of the world. I am in San Francisco, CA in the US. From the outside the neighborhood looks very much like suburban neighborhoods in the US. Inside there are similarities and some real differences. The cabinets in the kitchen, sparse decorating, and the small kitchen sink are different than here. Spacious suburban home, plants, big TV, small yard with BBQ seems very similar. That looks like a typical neighbourhood here in Canada. Maybe colder since I live out west but when I lived in Quebec it was bitterly cold in winter. I live on Vancouver Island now and it is a more temperate climate.
