@@jenfoxek no. Kinda of long story. Husband and I were hospitalized with covid in Jan. One day in the hospital I decided I wanted a dog. And it will be a Goldendoodle. We live in Az. And most have a long wait list for puppies. I kind of wanted a mini. But I didn’t have the patience! The father is a standard poodle. Extremely friendly. Her mother is a beautiful golden retriever. When I went to look at the 2 female puppies, this puppy ran across the patio ( I was sitting on the ground) and jumped in my lap. My daughter said that one has claimed you. And she did. She was 9 weeks old when I got her last week. She definitely is growing! No curl in her hair. Think she will be wavy.

These dogs do wonders at healing, I got Luna after having a traumatic incident and she has healed me so much. I am getting a standard size goldendoodle soon also, i love having the mini but I look forward to getting another. What’s your puppy’s name?
@@jenfoxek Thank you. Covid almost had me. I was just a short distance from being on a vent. But I kicked. I am sure grateful to be alive. Absolutely love life everyday. My pups name is Nellie. She is absolutely adorable. Ornery as ever! Separation anxiety is huge. If I am out of her sight, we all know it. I sit in the kitchen until she falls asleep. Sounds silly , but her second night she barked and cried until. 2 am. I got up and sat on a bench in the kitchen. She laid down and went right to sleep. The last 3 nights she has been good all night. No noise , no messes. Fingers crossed for tonight. 😁
@@jenikeenan3166 What a cute name "Nellie"! Doodles are velcro dogs for sure, she follows me everywhere-literally. But I love it :) I think that the first few days were the absolute worst, i was sleep deprived and I wasnt sure i was cut out for it, but I promise it will get better! I really started seeing huge improvements overall around 5 months, you will get through it and it will be worth it!
Awe Puppy Maya! How cute! My moms dog name is Mia, and I have always loved the name Mya! I considered that name for my daughter Jordyn at one time. Let me tell you, mini Goldendoodles are the best!!! I’m so in love with Luna, I hate to leave her at home. She’s my baby. At 20 weeks you’re going to get the better side of puppy phase. The first 10 weeks are hard! @@jenfoxek I'm just hoping she won't have problems bonding with me at 20 weeks old I'm doing everything I can do to prepare for her and help her feel very loved and comforted to help in her new transition.

I taught her everything she knows, She fetches, bark's quiet on command ,sits ,stays for as long as I like her to and she will jump upon anything I point to or snap my fingers and point too, She can catch a treat across a 20' room. She was just amazing, and she was ripped out of my life. I drove 35 hours to pick her up from Apple Creek Ohio from an Amish farm she's never stepped foot on concrete or asphalt before, I had to teach her it was OK to do so, she was so pure and sweet. Her name is Molly Bear she is a red F1B Mini Goldendoodle. I groomed her myself and kept her brushed every day and kept her detangled, and beautiful all the time. My wife never did anything with her she just enjoyed the fruits of my love and labor I put in to her. I couldn't bear it was very difficult being without her and I found someone I found someone that had a doodle just like Molly, same color, mannerisms and everything. I'm not trying to replace Molly I just really like the Goldendoodle my new baby is named Maya and she sticks to me like skin. I now have started the whole training process over again with Maya. Now no one can take my baby from me.

Hi Nadine! She doesn’t really shed! Luna is 10 months now and I really recommend getting a metal comb to get through her hair and help if there is any shedding!
@@jenfoxek okay no rush what state are you in? We are thinking 6 months to end of next year. We aren’t finished training our current dog yet so not in a rush
Hi! We also have a mini goldendoodle, at least we think… because when we got her, she was 8 weeks old and she had 1.4 kg. Now she is 16 weeks old and has 5 kg. The people who gave her away told us she is a mixture of maltese and poodle, but she has more resemblance to your dog. How heavy was your dog when she was 16 weeks old? And how heavy is she now? Thx in advance for the reply
Hi Dejana! I don’t remember how much she weighed at 16 weeks, sorry! But she weighs 23 pounds now! Your pup could have a red poodle parent making her a golden color! They sell dna test kits if you’re dying to know!
Awe! How is it going for you with the two puppies?! It was wild for me! I just had the two for one day, Luna is my dog and the other one was for someone else that I was delivering the dog to! They were so cute playing together!
Haha yes of course she teethed and so I constantly redirected to toys. I always had a toy in my hand and also I used bully sticks! I get them at Costco and you can get a bag of 10 or so for 33$ which Is much better than the pet stores. One bully stick would last her about a week or so at first but now she can eat through one in an hour so she only gets them on special occasions now!
