Hi Refika, I just came back from Turkey. It’s a magnificent country, I loved it and the food. Cappadocia and Pamukkale are unique places. I had a dish with peppers and yoghurt. Could you please give us the recipe? I loved, loved, loved this dish that is the signature dish of Vahap restaurant in Antalya.
Pepper with Yogurt is a light and delicious mezen, which is served by pouring yogurt on roasted peppers, and widely consumed in Turkish cuisine. Optionally, it can be served by drizzling melted butter with pepper flakes.
Banana pudding is a staple for those of us from the southern US! Thank you for bringing a very fresh version. I cannot wait to give it a try. Yum, yum, yum!
This dessert was one of my favourtie when living in Istanbul. Thank you for making it, I will try it at home now. Also, it is so good to see Burak in front of the camera with more chef duties as his warm and friendly smile makes everything so Turkish and enjoyable :)
Looks delicious, definitely giving them a try! Love the flubs at the end, lol, we all struggle to get it right. Thank you Refika and friends, always a pleasure.💕👍🍓🍌💫
So simple, yet so elegant. It’s basically a diplomat crème with lovely fresh fruits. It’s a trifle without the sponge cake. It looks so light and refreshing and no need to turn your oven on in the heat of the summer. Perfect!
Refika and Butak and Burak (wishing) Your version of this looks heavenly. Such a great idea for a trifle to use store bought biscuits and nuts for crunch! Plus the colors are most appetizing. For sure I'm stealing your presentation. Banana pudding is ubiquitous here in the US. So much so it is a mainstay dessert served in hospital cafeterias. But your version with homemade vanilla custard really elevates it. Much love to you and to your most talented team! As always, be well and stay safe!!!
Magnolia😍 our fav dessert🫠 the team and details are very nice, we understand from Burak Çakar that the recipe and taste are wonderful 😅😎 thank u for your efforts 🌸
Love your different recipes this one looks delicious. You all work together very well and make it fun to watch even your bloopers ..be safe and many blessings🐞🦬🐢🥰
Looks very delicious! I will make it for this weekend. You all are great! You make everything with love and that’s why they are always the bests! 👌🏻🥰♥️
More bloopers please 😊♥️🇹🇷 Turkish Gaziantep Pistacchio is the best in the world. That will go really well with this dessert. Turkiye raises many things the best: e.g., garlic.
The cream in some countries is thickened. Australia also has thickened cream. Here is Canada whipping cream is thinner but will whip the same. My question is how much to use. I am making this today as I have bananas to use and this looks like the perfect dessert. I will use 1 1/2 cups of cream and will hope it turns out. 🤞
@@sylviahufer7019 not as thick as this one (looks like a UHT type) the heavy/whipping cream here in Canada is pouring consistency. Much thinner than cream in Oz.
Oh as beautiful and tasty this looks 😍, I wish there was healtier alternatives/ recepies version. We already cosume so much sugar in ordanary day to day food that this is once a year to try recepie 😉 what do we want? (more Burak on a diet recepies) when do we want it? ( Now, Now, Now, Now) 😄
I would love the strawberries. I would litteraly die to try both of them. But my mom would always say no to any snack that makes a mess. Plus i dont know where to find any non whipped cream. And even if i am mauritian i love turkish food. I love you and your cooking ❤❤❤
I find that Barack # 2’s ‘history lesson’ of banana pudding is an insult to African American culture. While Magnolia Bakery’s in New York is tasty, they DID NOT invent banana pudding and I suggest that he put more effort into researching its origins. THANK YOU.
Здравейте ! Много ми хареса този десерт !Прекрасен !Субтитри на български език ,моля ! Благодаря !

Yes, and you can replace it with any fruit you like.
It kind of reminds me of the Scottish dessert Crannachan. I think Refika would love it.

Hi Refika and friends, I’m currently in a sweet tooth phase craving puddings and sweets and desserts! This for sure is gonna be made by me 😅 😋
I love Burak so much. He’s not listening to anything while he’s busy enjoying the pudding because he’s loving it so much. A man after my own heart! 😂😂
Good God, i HAVE to make this.🤤🤤🤤
It's right up my street
Yum 😋
How is your 35% cream so thick?! In Canada it’s liquid like table cream before beating.
Good point. In the U.K. is liquid and we whip it to make thick. Refika please explain 🧐

I have not thought about strawberries, I just made banana this morning for my husband.
:) watch out! He might eat your fingers it's so good!
I grew up in the South (US). This is old fashion banana pudding. Now they call it Magnolia pudding. Interesting
💜
I love recipes like this. Any kind of pudding, any kind of biscuits, any kind of fruit. Use your imagination and go wild.

I obviously don't hang out in the right places because I've never heard of magnolia pudding. 🤷♀️
Refika. I really hope your pudding is better than the magnolia ones. Their pudding is just bleh.

If you know the history of then pudding then write it in their comment section
