I find that if you take an old credit card and rub them down good before lifting the top paper off you can avoid most of the lifting problems you were having. Looks good. I wouldn't expect anything else from Callie though. World class all the way.
Thank you yeah I thought I was actually going to have to paint it pretty as well oh, but I found a web page that showed a fleet of them, some were grey. But som were dark grey and some were white. I really liked the white one
It's a nice plane. Hope you enjoy the heck out of it. I understand that reinforcement of the fuse halves is a good idea so it doesn't break in half on harder landings. Try not to 3 point land.
@@SkipBuiltRC thank you for the info, ill post some videos on my youtube as i progress, my flying club reopens april 3rd in upstate ny.im sure this will be a head turner

You should cut as much of the carrier paper off the decal before applying to the model. All of that excess can rip the paint off the surface if your not careful, being that a lot of the paints used on our foamys don't stick all that well to begin with. That's going to be a nice looking P-8 Someone else did one just like yours. It looked real nice.
Forgot to mention that I always use soapy water to apply mine, that way you can slide them around and realign them if you see something you don't like. Does away with the "one shot syndrome". Try it some time, Callie even suggests it in her instructions.
You’ve shown this on past videos but I just couldn’t find it. Can you show where to place the voltage sensor wire into the balance port of the battery pack? Thank you
Estuve viendo tus videos amigo y me gustaron muchísimo, incluso cuando no sepa nada de Inglés, en fin amigo donde puedo conseguir esos increíbles aviones? Realmente me gustaron
You left out the absolute most important step in applying vinyl decals. You should always apply a mist of soapy water to the surface. That way you can position, and reposition as well as burnishing out any air bubbles. It's not a "one shot deal" if you use the professional methods.
Beautiful, but could you maybe please do a video about wiring thr whole plane up? I looked at the Video from Motion RC but it didn't really help. I'd really appreciate it!
I can try, Except it's already done. If you are wondering about wires and where they go, One is the BEC and it gets y'd in with throttle or plugged to battery port. That supplies power to the receiver. Theres an extra short wire from steering. Just run the rudder and steering together an straight thru the receiver bypassing the blue box. The rest is self explanatory.
@@SkipBuiltRC Okay, and one More question. A little cable goes out of the battery cable and it goes through a thing where it says 5V. Where does that cable go?
Not yet $##$ it. Keep wanting to but haven't been able to fly much lately. Going thru some tough times for awhile. Back problems mostly. Just dont want anymore surgeries.
I'm building a Lufthansa a320 using Calli Decals. Their decals are excellent and they work with you. A great company.
Oh Cool. Should be awesome. Yeah, Calli's Great.

Not sure of Tasmania is anywhere near the fire area but oh, the size of it sounds like it could be everywhere?

Did you make that foam cradle or is that from somewhere else?
It's packing from a computer I bought. Works great huh? LOL

@@scotabot7826 Ok. Thanks for the heads up on that. I'll have to do that next time.
Finished the decals last night.
Yep, It was Bobby's from Pilot Ryan Media. Liked it when I saw it. Lucky, I started doing that after the first paint tear. LOL
Very nice !
Can't wait to see it in the air.
Great video! Beauty! 😊 What's the diameter of the fuselage? Can you measure it for me? I'm still waiting for mine. Thanx! 🙂
Thanks Dude for that.
It's just about the size of a dodge ball around.
I just got my graphics from Callie and don't see how the backing comes off. I tied a razor blade/ X- Acto on the edge and don't see it happening.
That's all you should need. Good luck 🤞

Sorry, but I don't have a voltage sensor on it. My volt reports are from the receiver.

Next time use a credit card like a squeegee to evenly apply the vinyls. It’ll make it easy to eliminate air pockets
The cheap soft plastic body putty squeegees from the auto parts store work better and are less likely to scratch anything.

True, forgot about that trick. Thanks
When you going to get this thing in the air?
Doing the best I can right now with the weather that never stops and by back that reacts to it as well. Soon I HOPE...!!! LOL
