- EP 46 Adding scale markings the easy way
Adding the final scale detail and markings are probably the most fun part of finishing a model airplane for me. It's what gives the plane its own identity and often tells a story.

Thank you for your kind words. I’m happy you like my videos, they are a lot of fun for me to make. And I love sharing tips and demonstrations to hopefully make building model airplanes easier for others. It’s very special when I get comments in other languages from people around the world making me realize how far our hobby spans and that we can talk about it.
Thank you. 🙏🏻
Grazie. 🙏🏻. I hope this worked correctly.
Leave the transfer paper on and remove when it's dry, hadn't thought of that! I have use callie- graphics a couple times now but always struggled getting the paper backing off before hand. I use the wet method as well and will for sure leave the paper on until dry. Thanks for that tip!
You think putting a piece of clear tape on the edges of the transfer paper would help the curling problem?
Actually I liked the curling of the transfer paper because it meant it was letting go of the sticker. Sometimes it took a little longer, but the main thing was that even if it pulled up on the sticker a little, it was still aligned and just needed to be pushed down on the surface to be permanent.
Well I said were is your cat.....the CATO has to be there in the video....
Take a closer look. She was there next to me when I was showing the decals in almost the first shot. When I go to turn the plane around on the table.
