- After customizing and assembly, we are finally taking our Freewing AL37 out for a maiden flight. We had the great opportunity to join Motion RC at Fall Nall for the release of this beautiful jet and we fell in love with it right from the beginning. The AL37 does amazing aerobreaking, has lights all over, and looks just like a real airliner when flying through the air.

This is so cool. The moment both people started talking as if they were Air Traffic Control and Pilot, I just had a HUGE smile. I am going to get me one of these.

My AL-37 Western Pacific "Simpsons" jet is getting almost finished! I can't wait to maiden it! I used lots of Beacon foam filler to hide all the seams and pimples! Callie Graphics nailed the livery! Itchy & Scratchy will be piloting the plane!

Nice job on the livery! I would definitely put a gyro in to smooth it out. A spektrum 637 with AS3X and Telemetry. Been thinking about trying out Lemon receivers. That's my beef with Motion RC. Buy a nice place and have to buy a receiver and deal with all that. Buy from Horizon and get a beauty like my A10, F16 70mm and Spitfire and you have a dialed in reciever with little if anything to tweak. Didn't even have to touch the AS3X programming on the A10. It was locked in solid from maiden to outta safe mode. High and low rates were perfect. Gain and priorities perfect I've never had to trim regardless of in or out of safe. Had to tweak AS3X on the Spit and F16 and crank down gain and priority.
I do dig this AL37. Man.., I need a bigger vehicle or trailer lol. Amazed I can get my 3 planes in my 2016 Malibu now as it is...lol

can a beginner with a a lot of highwing trainer flights fly this plane? Or is it too much being a low wing?
Well it’s more of how confident you are in your flying. It isn’t a hard airplane to fly but it is fast and vary big. If you are a confident flyer you should be able to fly it but without really knowing how you fly it’s a hard question to answer

Arthur-RC there is actually CG marks in the foam on the wings and it’s perfect on them 😍
Merry Boozer RC yes i saw that marks but we all know that sometimes CG are too nose heavy but not on the AL37...that’s coool!!! Thanks buddy 😉
Arthur-RC yea all flights I’ve had on the al have been with that CG there is a guy at our field that flys with it further back and he high alphas it all over its hilarious to watch

Well that’s not a fair question my IX12 radio was $60” but you can get an NX6 now for around $200 the plane is available at Motionrc see the description of the video I have links the battery is around $100 so realistically you will have around $700 to $800 in it
