Soft cap is when you start seeing diminishing returns on your upgrade. Hard cap is the same but you get minimal returns for upgrades. For example before the soft cap you get 10pts per upgrade soft cap you'll get 9pts on the first, 8.5 on the second, 8 on the third and so on. Hard cap you get .50 then .49 then .48 and so on. Hope this helps clarify a bit better.
Did you give up yet? I've tried to get my brother into this game and he has quit probably 3 or 4 times. If you stick with it by far best combat guaranteed!!
Whats good bro. Nice video. Got a question regards to late game. I'm about level 500 and running a splitstaff as a main with max courage and max magic but I'm stuck on what other weapon I could use and what skill I should level up. Ideally it would be a fast weapon as I like that playstyle and would scale with magic or courage and then I could level up the other skill where necessary. Also I've just started underworld and was thinking of experimenting with different graces to get me through the depths. Is there any that u would recommend that are really powerful?
As for the weapon you can go with the tonfa they are very fast paced and scale mainly with courage. Plus paired with splitstaff can dish out massive ki damage. As for early underworld builds for splitstaff and tonfa Grace of Susano is very good because you get the versatility special effect which boosts damage the more active skills you use and both those weapons focus very heavily on active skills the other Grace is honestly up to you but 6 pieces of susano I would recommend
The only issue I have with using online to level is that the player you join can’t die or you’ll be kicked. Or if you decide to host you can only do levels or missions you’ve already done so you won’t be able to progress the story
It is sad how nioh has no good guide on TH-cam... All the information is buried deep in forums with a bunch of misinformation and outdated information...
Leveling for sure…equipment will drop with higher levels each time you complete missions so you’ll literally change your armor and weapons way too often to worry about a build yet
It’s because I’ve used a book of reincarnation which refunds your Amrita and resets your stats…so all my other stats like my titles, my set bonuses, and equipment are all still maxed level…this video is only to show how I would distribute stats early game as a basis

Fastes way for me is after the first mission, you unlock the online game and just play with others to gain points before continuing playing

Very good.
Thank you! Was getting my butt kicked. This helped a lot
I plan getting all my stats to 10 then my heart to 99. I get melee dmg, ranged dmg, health, ki all in one stat.
Stats should only go to 99 if you use that’s specific stat more than others…heart is mainly for the amount of ki you possess
@KingRedDiamondGaming in the first playthrough I will use sword and bow.
I can also somewhat use dual swords, odachi and fists.

This is why I made my channel…to bring light to the topics most channels don’t bother with
I totally agree. I've just started playing it and most info is nearly as old as me 😂.
Ayr bro I'm lv50 do you think I should be focusing on builds or leveling

Thx very much 💪🔥👍
Level 1 but your life in 2032,
attack 5366,

vs water 8.5 etc
And so much amrita
How its possible?
Lol
