Hey man, I just want to thank you for this little series you've put together here! I recently purchased my first GL1100 1981, and unfortunately the jets in the 3rd carb were clogged! But thanks to your videos and the manual i was able to figure how to get it out, and even clean them, and put it back together! Thanks again mate! Dylan
Great vids Tomas. I watched all 36 on Thanksgiving. I bought two '81s on Wed. Have never had a GW before. Great help was your information and IMPRESSIVE patients. Thanks for posting these . I will be watching for further progress and improvements. I've got the feeling you are not done w/ this 1100.
I admire your patience Tomas. I'm just in the last stages of putting my 1200 back together. Had to take off that front engine cover to replace the neutral switch. Also had to do the brakes and carbs and clutch etc etc. When I'm done, hopefully in the next day or two I'll post it on my channel.
I have to take my left valve cover off again to put a few little dabs off sealant on the gaskets right at the corners by the cam ends. No biggie, waiting on the triple trees to come back from powder coat. Whole series so far on my channel and I've watched quite a few in your series too. Its looking quite good!

Are the bags the standard saddle bags for the bike? I didn’t see that in the build. Thanks!
Yes, the bags are standard GL1100 saddlebags stripped of all the reflectors and other choochkies, holes filled and sprayed rattle can matt black :)
