It's like Nike made a list of all the complaints about the ZF5's and fixed them for the ZF6's! These are soooo good! It's a night and day difference from the old model. A true do it all trainer!
My first real runners were the ZF5's. I thought they were good, until I tried some other shoes. I picked up the ZF6's and they are fantastic! Enjoy man!
Think I'm gonna have to give these a try 👌Ordered the pink R4A t-shirt off the website the other day and its arrived already, nice little Xmas pressie for the wife 😊
@@lukeharris3651 Heheh. I'm in Malta. They launch in a couple of days and I'm friends with the Nike importers (coming from a small country has its benefits) 😉
Thx for the review Loyd. The old ZoomX Pegasus was the same for me, loved that shoe but the front was a little shallow making me wonder if I should go up a 1/2 size. Keep rockin’ it!
This is actually the first Zoom Fly I'm considering, they've always been heavy and I used to love the Tempo Next% and have struggled to find something similar since, right now I'm using an older pair or Vaporfly 2 that I've retired from racing and the NB Fuelcell Rebel v4, a nice uptempo shoe but one with poor durability.
I got mine on the last week, was posible made two run test 10km and yeasterday put on road with 21km test, That shoes it's really really fantastic, with excellent foam and good response, tha made save a lot off energy on the final session.! I never tried any Zoom Fly!
I loved the original zoom fly’s and the 3’s but the 5’s were without a doubt the worst money I have ever spent! These look great though and I’m sure I’ll try them at some point 👍🏼
Great vlog Loyd Not too extortionate for a carbon ! Not overly keen on the aesthetic, obviously won't know how it might affect the form, calves etc till later. Reckon that "FlyPlate" recess would collect a fair chunk of any dog shite that wasn't "picked up" on the radar !
It’s definitely a narrow toe box on the Nike shoe. My feet felt quite constricted one the first run but it did give a bit after that. However I have quite narrow feet 👍
Great review! I'm definitely interested. One thing I noticed though is they look a bit "cheap" where the top of the midsole is painted black. Just doesn't look high quality to me.
I personally wouldn’t recommend using a carbon plated shoe all the time for your running. I think it’s fine to have a pair in your shoe rotation but I wouldn’t wear them all the time 👍
@@justinnevins107 In European and Asian market. In Asia, they get a different release colorway. I’d not be surprised this had to do with embargo and supply chain issues. As a matter of fact, some retailers already have kipchoge colorway available for purchase before its official release date.
I hate when they make a 42mm stack on something. Are the 2mm REALLY making the shoe better? No. They're just trying to get you to buy a second pair of shoes to race in because the 40mm limit means you can't run in these for many events. It feels sneaky and underhanded in a way that just ain't right.
I care zero about asthetics. You could make the ugliest shoe in the world, but if it performs well, I'll buy it. I have some God awful ugly colorways (often get them on 50% clearance sales because no one likes the style). But I could care less.

I tried at the Shop. Very good indeed but I got to hold back my urge and wait for some discounts. It might take a very long while, I know.
these are gonna be my first real running shoes, can't wait to try them out!!

Got 2 pairs of these on order. They'll be taking up the vast amount of the road miles I'll be doing in my training for the Arc in January.
Where did you buy them from?
@@lukeharris3651 Heheh. I'm in Malta. They launch in a couple of days and I'm friends with the Nike importers (coming from a small country has its benefits) 😉
No need to do too much road training for the Arc, you need to get dirty and get off the road!
@@martinweston8147 True. But during the week all of my miles are strictly urban I'm afraid.
Why 2? Buy one pair now then another at a big discount later on 😅

Good to hear, I was disappointed in the 5s

You should really try out Puma Deviate Nitro 3!

Should the room in the toe box break in pretty soon ??

Are they better than the puma deviate nitro 3s?
I’d say a lot better! More responsive, more comfortable and a lot more energy return 👍
@@Run4Adventure thank you!
Can i use this shoes as a daily trainer? As carbon plated shoes injured to wear it on daily basis

Sounds good!
My US9 zoomfly 6 weighs in at 245g for both sides
I got the weight off the Nike website so I’m not sure what’s going on there? 🤔
@Run4Adventure was expecting that weight as well so it's a nice surprise and made my purchase even more worthwhile
I’m a little bummed the US hasn’t made this running shoe readily available for purchase.
Yeah, I thought they didn't go on sale until November 1st. How are all these people getting them? Europe?

Europe always gets the releases first

Unless you are an elite runner you can run them in any race!
@Fozzee.1970 by that logic you could ride a bicycle. 🙃
I’m allergic to podiums so I’ll take the extra 2mm of stack.
Subbed👍
Thank you, it’s appreciated 🙏🙂
I HATED the zoom fly 5.. Heavy, clunky, cut into the side of my foot, stiff.. The 6 can't be worse, Guaranteed
Very disappointed to find that Nike does not make these in women women's size😢 Will not be buying them.
If you go on to the Nike app there’s loads of women’s sizes available? 🤷♂️
Just an update they now make these in women's sizes. I will be waiting for Black Friday sale as usually you get a better deal
@ They actually had women’s sizes available on the Nike website when you first left a comment 👍
@@Run4Adventure weird I even messaged Nike support to ask them why they did not have women sizes. Oh well my bad totally.
@@Freebird65 I did get back to you to let you know 👍
As others have observed, this is an ugly looking shoe.
I think that's a matter of personal taste, but I do like their look. They have a bit of a Vaporfly vibe to them.
Preference is subjective.
Not in my opinion. I love the look of mine. There are other colours coming too.
