Ok, the gloss duo is very bizarre indeed. I think Chanel has rattled off possible uses for it without giving it much thought 😂 All in all, this is a collection I can happily pass on. Everything for face and eyes is way to warm for me.
Thanks for doing such a thorough review. I agree about the nail polish, i ordered it yesterday. I wear a lot of olive so I'm glad it's having a moment. The rest of the collection is really best for a medium to deeper skin tone. Very helpful video!💚
You convinced me with your post of the green nail polish on Instagram to purchase it. It arrives today so I’m going to put it on and hope for the best, it really looks beautiful so I’m happy to have jumped out of my comfort zone. I already have the eyeshadow and rose illuminating powder and love it. I keep ordering more from this collection which surprises me because I thought at first peaking at all the promotion photos it was a pass but up close and personal this collection is gorgeous. ❤❤❤

The size of those highlighters is crazy. One thing I wish Channel would do is change up there outer packaging. They make the product on the inside so pretty but never the outer packaging. Have a great weekend xx

The gloss creases on the lid. I tried some of the items at Macys, I felt like this years collection is bit elevated, bit moodier. They literally darkened 2021 holiday collection. The nail polish topper was such a let down, I have an OPI one and it’s so beautiful. I got Mademoiselle gel and rose liquid lipstick 💕
Beautiful eye look! It reminds me of the look you did with the Burberry Runway eye palette (missed out on it last year), so I’ll be picking up the Chanel eyeshadow palette.

I ordered the or rose, the green nail polish (which I am now extra excited to receive after seeing it on you!!), and 1 laque. Absolutely will never hit pan on the highlighter, I have never hit pan on a smaller highlighter. It’s annoying, but honestly that’s not why we buy them. If you truly made yourself use only 1 highlighter til it was finished, I predict that taking at least 2 years!

I don’t even know how I feel about this whole collection - on one hand I’m glad I don’t have to buy anything, and on the other I’m disappointed I’m not even tempted to buy anything. The eyeshadows are way too warm for my liking, the highlighters are just useless (for me with my pale skin) and this gloss stuff is sooo puzzling, I don’t think I have ever seen more useless product. Love your videos! My eyes are blue- green and I like to wear colors that bring out the green…. So I love coppery browns… and I’m also old…. 😳… so I like that the eye quad colors are soft. However… in some videos these look like soft coppery browns (which I would love)- and in others they look really orange, like Tom Ford’s Suspicion. I already have Suspicion… (which is also not an “everyday” quad in my opinion)… so if that the case- I wouldn’t want or need this quad. I also already have Cuivre…. Which seems similar too…. Too similar? Any thoughts? 🙏🏻
I did swatch it next to cuivre and I think it’s more orange leaning. I’ll look at it next to suspicion and let you know but I’d say it leans more orange on me
I was initially excited by the Quad but totally disappointed when it appeared so light on everyone instead of the deep brown, copper tones and what looked like a foiled gold. Instead, everyone's looks appeared to lean more peachy and much lighter than expected. I bought last year's palette at near to AU$110.00. This year's Quad is selling for AU$140.00 which is totally unacceptable. I wouldn't mind a Luminiser to brush over my entire face, shoulders and collarbone but these appear too dark. I have seen these on others and the rose does look pink on them and thought it could be your skin tone making it appear less pink. Anyway, I wouldn't get through a highlighter of that size, as they can't be used as a Luminiser, if I had started it when first using make-up until my dying day! I doubt I'd be able to hold it in one hand. Sorry Chanel, not this year.🇦🇺💖🕊

Absolutely. They are very different. You bought one of the laques, a liquid satin formula. The l’extrait is an opaque, rich lipstick in a very thin bullet. I think it depends on what type of coverage and opacity you like 😊
Out of all cosmetic products, I use highlighter the least. I agree that it’s a bit confusing as to why these are so large. I wish they had done a cooler quad in addition to this quad. I’m saving some money I guess.

This is an absolutely horrible make up. Chanel blew it this holiday.
