  • I think we all want a successful retirement, but how do you quantify that? That's a loaded question because success is measured differently for each of us. In this short episode, I'll cover a few items that might help ensure that your retirement is just that... successful.

Calvin Coolidge - "nothing comes, that is worth having, except from hard work" or something close to that. Another good episode. Your sound is so good. Are you now publishing your podcast through another source like spotify, then bringing in the RSS feed into TH-cam? Or are you publishing on TH-cam? As for bucket list... I got my private pilot license back in 2008 and last flew in 2009. I want to get past my health hurdles and get back to flying. It was one of the reasons I moved out to central Washington from Minnesota - better flying weather. Also, I want to learn to fly fish. I make fishing poles and tie flies. I did try it once but it was a disaster. I grew up around all these great rivers in Idaho and never learned. As for the "keep my mind working" my wife and I try and play board games often. We pick up a new game every couple months and that forces us to learn something new.

Thanks so much for listening, I really do appreciate it. I am recording my podcasts in Garage Band (MacBook) and then publish through my host Buzzsprout. The RSS feed is linked from Buzzsprout into TH-cam.
I haven't fly fished much over the last 4 or 5 yrs because of health, but will be getting back into it very soon... Just needs to warm up a little for me to get out there. Fly tying is one of my all time favorite hobbies and I will set up and tie for a couple of days even if I'm not fishing.
